  1. I don't kniow about that E, those bulbs usually have off axis tabs on the side so you don't install them incorrectly. How about the flasher unit under the dash, or a ground?
  2. Very nice Walt, someone will be very happy. I wish I had mine, it's a nice little collectable to have with your classic.

Link Here's a little snippet from the article.
  11. Was this car originally purchased in Richmond. If so, then it was from Pence-Briggs Datsun same as my 71 510 of the same color. http://penceauto.driverbuzz.com/
  12. The type of stainless would be interesting to know, but quality of the polish is the key to corrosion resistance. But that's a lot of money, but what else is available?
  13. It makes a difference on the tach, at least on the earlier models. I wonder what coil he purchased, it has to be the right one to work with the BR. Did you upgrade to 280 or 280ZX plugs? Remember you're putting out more voltage.
  14. I like to use Datsun parts when they are available and affordable. But when a rare screw cost $400 or something, well heck, perfection starts to lose its luster. Also when a part is no longer available, I've found some folks that have worked very hard to produce a duplicate of the original. Some of them are damn good. One example is when I couldn't get new original stock springs. So I went to a spring company and got them to agree to make springs to stock specs, and we got some. A number of people bought them through Courtesy Nissan. There are many examples like that.
  15. Yup Fabreze is great, worked in my Toyota.
  16. I owned a 4dr model once, and totaled it.

Is there a problem with the site, or is it just me?
  25. I'll be 50 in July, DANG!!! I saw my first 240Z in 71 when my father purchased a new 510 4-dr sedan. I remember telling my father we should get one. I got the 510 in 77 and had it for four years. Got my 240Z in 92. It's still a project car that seems like it'll never get painted. I joined the IZCC around that time and met a lot of the veterans around here including Mike.
