  1. If it was 240 miles I would have done it but 280 miles you need a 280z Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  2. Dang Wheee! I was 54 in the Army inn Iraq in '08. I was medevaced and spent another 17 months in the hospital, before being medically retired
  3. Bias tires? So that's where black wall and white wall comes from. Prejudice tire manufacturers!
  4. Damn fellas I'm supposed to fly out to Redmond OR tomorrow and make the 280 mile drive home in my new 73 240. Weather calls for scattered showers and I cringe at the idea of the car being exposed to all that water. Do I make the drive or re schedule? I will lose the cost of the flight ....what would you all do? Thanks Jr Video added Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  5. On my way fellas Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  6. I’m used to being partly broken most of the time. But at 51, I am getting closer to the point where it’s time to “pull pin”... For now, I enjoy working with the tanks.
  7. Apply Rain-X to the outside and anti-fog to the inside. Anti-fog used on ski goggles work better than the stuff sold at auto supply stores. You can pick that up at Sports Chalet, REI, Big 5, etc. Make sure your phone is fully charged and AAA on speed dial. Enjoy the drive and be safe. Congrats on the new ride. 10. [emoji50][emoji50][emoji50] ..... ya I'll probably pic up a few things before I leave Redmond, definitely making sure my phone stays charged! The lights have been upgraded to relays and new blades we're installed today per my request. The PO seams like a very solid individual, he noted that his only concern about me making the long trip home was that the radiator did in fact have a small leak so Tuesday he dropped the car off at his local radiator repair shop and it's good to go. 11. Drive it. You'll get to experience wiper lift.
  12. 30-40 lbs, that's my beer weight! June?????!!!
  13. FWIW - I've got one of zclocks quartz converted units installed, purchased from MSA a few years ago. Great product and highly recommended.

You might want to slip jack stands under it and check the torque on the pan bolts first. "Upper pan" was just a lame, vague description of the source of the leak. That guy missed his calling. He could have been a politician.

Yeah, me too. After the fourth time it took my friend with the lift about 6 hours total to R&R the tranny, replace the seal and put everything back. You used a GLASS jar??? Holy crap! I would have broken that right away. Here's to no more rear main seal leaks. Cheers, Mike
