@darom Here is the back half of a video. I live in an urban area, sadly no cool twisty roads to enjoy. This run is on a nearby toll road. My old GoPro has a port for an external mic, I attached it to the bumper just above the exhaust outlet. When I passed the semi and the RV I was running about 80 mph, 4,000 RPM. The sound is quite livable in the cabin.

Thanks, Jim, for posting the video! Would you happen to have any photos of how you/muffler shop installed the resonator/rest of the exhaust? I have a welder, but will probably use the pipe spreader to make it easily removable with clamps. I found some posts from other members posting various reviews of their MSA headers/premium setups and commenting on some fitting well (around the rear diff) and some not so much.

That rear diff is hit or miss until you get under it. Cars sit differently in my opinion. Personally I would not weld anything that may require removal in the future.

Here's the MSA premium exhaust kit as of 15 years ago, a very nice bolt-up to the MSA 6-1 header. Sorry, no pic of the resonator install but it is welded in about 12" behind the flange connecting the exhaust pipe to the header. I installed the complete exhaust system, easy peasy! Every shop that has seen the underside is impressed with how easy it is to work with.

Back to the RC complete dual stainless...

Got it installed today and it was fairly straightforward. As pointed out before, it's definitely not too long... but I pre-hung everything, and slowly tightened it into near perfect alignment. I took the opportunity to dramatically simplify my stock '73 balance tube which added to the job considerably. Once it was all back together it fired right up and sounded very happy.

I've yet to drive it, finished too late today. Sounds pretty fantastic on cold start and idle. Thus far I think it's a winner... fantastic workmanship and the fit was right on, although another inch or two on the rear section would make it better. As shipped you have to get a little creative with the mid pipe mounts.

Not sure I ever posted the finished product. Completely spaced on that.

I'm still working on finishing a few other things so haven't gotten to really fire it up yet. Carbs need rework and the brakes are all being redone before I can really test it out. I do have to say other than the fitment issue with the sections mating properly the rest was a snap for someone like me, the hangers and everything worked great. I may choose to get that section reworked at some point with some type of extension or cut and weld if need be but I'll cross that when i need to.

You should use some brake cleaner and get all the hand prints off before you start it up... Once you bake the fingerprints on, it's another polish to get them off Stainless... DAMHIK.

lol. Its funny you say that, as part of my brake work i've spilled a little and you're right it sure works well lol.

Your car is beautiful btw... I put my RC system on an original '73 that shows proper patina for sure, but original paint still shines and the interior is time capsule quality. I fully restored a '70 (SN 000486) and really appreciate how nice it is to be assembling new stuff. My exhaust swap was much more greasy however...
