This is cool.... way more to this than meets the eye I'm sure, but cool! I like the six speed in my 370Z. I'm sure it would be pretty neat to have it in the 280 as well.

I couldn’t justify it. If you need strength for a high HP build maybe, but the final drive for a standard ZX trans in 5th was lower than 6th gear for the 350z. It wasn’t much lower but still.  The option is nice though. 

 

I like the idea of the six speed behind an L series motor. I wonder how the shifter lines up with the stock shifter location?

I would really like having a modern 6 spd transmission but I don't like the idea of drilling my floors for mounts. If I had a more track focused Z then it probably wouldn't bother me. Looks like a nice kit though.

And considering the state of a lot of peoples floors and frame rails..... that is like bolting the tranny up to rice paper!

Suddenly all of those old worthless automatic transmissions have value.  I'll bet most have been scrapped.  Could be a problem.
