Not a Cheetah - they were fiberglass and wouldn't rust like this mystery car. Although it has styling similar to the Cheetah, the hatch and side window are not part of the Cheetah design. I know what it's not, but not what it is.

2000 GT based on tail lights, missing square access panel on front fender, and small rear/side marker light.

I'll grant you that the panel is missing but the hole is clearly there. So is the rear marker light. Guys! That's a Toyota. Nice fender flares. Just like a Cheetah girl though, driven hard, put to bed wet...

Looks like a Z with curvy corners at first glance.... an idea for body mods.

I guess the fact that one has never seen a trashed GT makes one's eye see a Z in that state and shape (like an illusion).
