JohnnyO Posted September 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2010 I believe rockauto.com has them too. In house is probably all you will find. You might try zbarn.com or dannysdatsuns.com. They might not be rebuilt but if they tell you they are good you can bank on it.

They shipped it out quick and provided the return label for the core. I received the credit for the core within 10 days of shipping it back to them. I was given the name of this site from the president of our local Z club. He has used them and he races his Gnose Z and was very happy with their rack. The rack does include the two inner tie rods.I would highly recommend them.
anthony_c Posted September 10, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted September 10, 2010 sblake,i could not find that item on their website. can you post a link to the page?thanks, tony
sblake01 Posted September 10, 2010 Share #7 Posted September 10, 2010 After checking into it, the price I said was for a 75-78 280Z rack. They want more ($347) for a 260Z rack and it only comes with a 1 yr warranty. You'd do better with the one you linked to.
Inf Posted September 10, 2010 Share #8 Posted September 10, 2010 RockAuto had them up until a month or two ago. I priced it into a list of parts from them back in the spring, and left it off my order for later. Went back a few weeks ago and it was gone. The price wasn't as good as CarSteering anyway, I think I may go with them. Please let us know how your experience goes AW.

ta240 Posted September 10, 2010 Share #10 Posted September 10, 2010 Having bought one before from AutoZone that ended up being worse than the one it replaced. My opinion is stay clear of the chain stores. A warranty is great until you have to keep replacing it. The little guys aren't going to want to keep replacing them so I'd think/hope theirs would be much more solid.
anthony_c Posted September 10, 2010 Author Share #11 Posted September 10, 2010 agreed ta, cheap parts+good warranty just amounts to a perpetual PITA.thanks for everyone's suggestions. since there's been no negative feedback and they have the best price i guess i'm going with the carsteering.com option.
