Go240Zags Posted August 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 1, 2007 I kow the DeLorean is in a ton of movies. Anyone got any examples of the Z cars in movies? You might try this thread Darbji, it list several movies, TV shows and somewhere in there there's a link to a site that has lots of examples listed by car type. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2969&highlight=240z+movies There's at least one silver Z in a That 70s Show episode. Go240Zags Posted August 1, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 1, 2007 Here you go you have to do some searching through the Datsuns to pick out the Zs, but they're there.http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Datsun.html

Mr Camouflage Posted August 1, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 1, 2007 Theres already a Z cars in movies thread, do we really need another one?speaking of irish cars, I read an article about a place that completele rebuilds DeLoreans. In the article they said they might start making new ones on a limited basis, since there aren't too many f them left.
KDMatt Posted August 2, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 2, 2007 Hrm, I was under the impression that there are plenty of Deloreans left for anybody who wants one... The last time I checked you can get totally mint, low-mileage DeLoreans for about 20k on ebay motors. On the topic of Z's in the movies/TV I've seen a number of S30's in Knight Rider... a 240z got creamed by an evil supercar in a third season episode. KDMatt Posted August 3, 2007 Share #9 Posted August 3, 2007 Haha, no, it wasn't KARR... it was some other car ... I just remember Michael Knight saying "Man... it would have taken some serious horsepower to push a sports car over a cliff like that" ... and I was like "It's just discs in the front and drums in the back... it probably wouldn't be too hard..." Only a small percentage of them are left. But Houston DeLorean has TONS of parts. They'll refirb one for you for about 30K and build you a new one from origional parts for about 70K.What a waste of time that car is. If it were really a time machine, I'd go back in time to before we got it and talk us out of a huge mistake.
