I kow the DeLorean is in a ton of movies. Anyone got any examples of the Z cars in movies?

You might try this thread Darbji, it list several movies, TV shows and somewhere in there there's a link to a site that has lots of examples listed by car type. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2969&highlight=240z+movies There's at least one silver Z in a That 70s Show episode.

Theres already a Z cars in movies thread, do we really need another one?

speaking of irish cars, I read an article about a place that completele rebuilds DeLoreans. In the article they said they might start making new ones on a limited basis, since there aren't too many f them left.

Hrm, I was under the impression that there are plenty of Deloreans left for anybody who wants one... The last time I checked you can get totally mint, low-mileage DeLoreans for about 20k on ebay motors.

On the topic of Z's in the movies/TV I've seen a number of S30's in Knight Rider... a 240z got creamed by an evil supercar in a third season episode.

Haha, no, it wasn't KARR... it was some other car ... I just remember Michael Knight saying "Man... it would have taken some serious horsepower to push a sports car over a cliff like that" ... and I was like "It's just discs in the front and drums in the back... it probably wouldn't be too hard..."

There was only about 8000 that made it out of the factory. Only a small percentage of them are left. But Houston DeLorean has TONS of parts. They'll refirb one for you for about 30K and build you a new one from origional parts for about 70K.

What a waste of time that car is. If it were really a time machine, I'd go back in time to before we got it and talk us out of a huge mistake.

For the record folks, I don't care what Darbji says about that car, it's hot and I want one.
