I have two 72 240z's and both had a/c and both were alittle different from one another, and it didn't look that good, kinda a cluttered hodge podge of crap. I'd say not dealer installed.

Stick with the 240 man, they are lighter and better looking!

Thats what i do when there is only me there and I need to turn the engine over and look at the spark plug wires at the same time and my engine is fine! and it is kinda like welding the metals together so the screwdiver will melt, i try to use the same crapy one everytime!! this works in a pinch after you break the steering column lock, you jam a screw driver into the on position and then do that, before the cops get there!!!! kidding kidding

I have dual Webber boat anchors on one of my z's, I take alot of crap for it but hey it was on there when in bought it and it seems to run pretty damn good. Better than my friend that has the same year as mine with su's.

I have 2 door from my '72, they have some rust but are all working i would get rid of for prob. $50 plus s&h if anyone needs them! hell if you need a part chances are i have it.

Oh and one more thing if you come I have that z you can just pick up for parts!!!

you bet i would love to talk to fellow z'ers if you want to drive to see me, to bad my z's are not running, but hey in like 3 weeks they go into get all of the body done, so i will be happy!!! but ya seriously that would be cool to get all of the z'er down here, In kearney NE here every july we have a huge event called cruise night it is about 3 days long with car shows and all sorts of cool things and in the evenings hundreds of old muscle cars and exotics start to come out and they cruise the stip till about midnight. it is great you should all come down and see my part of the country. p.s. I don't think it is a roof I think this is a pic from an earth quake when one of those over passes fell down on the road underneath, but maybe it is a roof. Laters

I don't know who can do it unless you come to NE where I am, but I do have a pair of brand new front frame rails I was going to use for my '72 but I bought another 240z and it didn't need them and now I don't need them, I can sell them to you if you want. let me know.

no matter what you call it, it was crazy I had no fenders they were all made and formed out of bondo!

just thought I would tell you guys about this since you have a 260 and all. A few miles from my house there is a 260z in pretty bad shape, but i hear it has triple webers on it. and i think he wants to sell it pretty cheap! so if anyone wants these or the whole engine or head i can check for you.

My parts car would give anyone a run for there money, no outer rockers on either side, no inner on the drivers side, no floors, no fire wall, the fenders, no wheel wells, no frame rails, doors are crap, hatch crap, pretty much anything. I would like to stangle the guy I bought it from. You will think I'm kidding but i swear it when i got it home, i literally took a grinder on the rear fenders and there was about 1 3/4" thick of bondo in some places. I'm pissed just thinking about it. PLEASE PLEASE never do this to your Z's, they need bondo like we need a hole in the head!

I think it is almost cheaper to find one with out much rust and pay the extra, rather that buy one cheap and have to have it all fixed, I'm speaking from experience! your a pontiac guy hu? I have a 67' firebird and my dad has a '67 GTO. good to see more of us here!
