  2. This is an outcome (?) of visiting the link through the Clear Headlight Covers thread. They got plenty pictures, enough for an hour fun!
  3. I use Altavista translating!! http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr Alan T are you in? There's a comp. streering at the site, does it fit the normal 240Z?
  4. As I wrote before the prices at Courtesy a couple of years ago where $120 a piece, so 200 bucks for the two is “cheap”.
  5. I do! What a nice cars and also very expensive ones too. What was the reason they all came together, just fun or a day at the racetrack?
  6. You know, that sounds exact the way I got it when I visited you country two months ago. Somewhere around Paris it started with a noise, like there was a coat hanger around my axle and was ticking and ticking and ticking. That sound went over to another a sort of screaming, just what you tell us. When you accelerate or slow down. This story is exactly written in the manual. If you jack your car up underneath the diff. you must be able to see if the UJ has movement! New UJ costs €30 in Holland. I replaced all four of them in one time! Good luck.
  7. Hi Bpaccaud, I use 80W 90 in my R180. That is normal differential oil which you can buy at every auto shop. You need thick oil because it’s getting thinner by his own heating. About the noise I can’t say, hopefully it’s ‘only’ the bearing what you hear. By the way, Are you a member of the French Z club??
  8. NO!!!!!!! I bought mine years ago. Already then I had planes to make a replica works rally car. I believe they cost me at the time $80 a piece. Courtesy parts http://www.courtesyparts.com/nms/s30/index.html say they don’t have them anymore but the price was $120 a year ago But maybe in Japan?
  9. Hi every one, What’s wrong with the original ones? The chrome line makes it very nice specially on dark colours.

Thanks blueZee for the advertising. Backing you better say burning!! I would not recommend it to anyone. It is a very determent way of getting rid of your paint. And an easy one also, this for your lazy workers among us. It is often used for to make race cars lighter. Normally there is on cars lots of paint, ant vibration material; underneath body protection etc. race cars don’t need them. They crash into the first corner.. But if you like to preserve you car for a longer time with this manner you overshoot the target. It will burn all the protection between all the metal even at the places where you not able to get by. Especially between the fold seam and the frame. I covered it well with Dinitrol but even now already there are some places of which I think “you did it not good Guus!”:disappoin

  16. Jeff, If you are really interested there is always a way to pick this up. I live about 3hours drive from this place. If you pay me the gasoline I’ll pick it up. Then we have to find a company who can ship this to the states. Probably the best, stored in a container. I live aslo nearby the shipsport Rotterdam.. It’s up to you!!
  17. This price isn’t expensive. Normally these kits cost around $3000!!!! Have a look at….. Stable Autoworks: http://www.zcarkits.com/ Thunder Ranch: http://www.thunderranch.com/gto.html Reaction Research: http://www.reactionresearch.com/automotive.html I’m not involved with this auction, neither have one. I like the car, that’s all. Ivan, hopefully this an answer to replay?

Alan, Is the Old Woking still in business or is that also history? Maybe a nice place to visit next time I‘ll be in the UK. To smell the old air from ages ago.:classic: I’ve to check (next Saturday meeting) the Dutch Z cars if they heave the same lower front quarters as the UK cars. Or was It typical UK?
