This Tour is going to be spectacular! We will cross some famous mountain passes at 2400 meters.:classic: In addition, we drive some parts of the Monte Carlo Rally route. And we drive trough three countries….any volunteers??

This trip needs some organisation. Therefore, we start early to spread out the word. Otherwise, it is too late and has everybody booked his or her holiday. Alan you can bet I will give you plenty of water and if I do not forget I’ll talk to you every day….its good for growing!!!! It would be nice if we can get entrances of over whole Europe. Now I need some more response.

Hi everybody, After seeing the cyclists doing their work during the Tour the France! This idea came up. The plan called “Tour the France by Z”. The first idea was to go round France totally but that was too much. Now we have an alternative. The date: get together Friday evening May 21, spend the weekend with our Swiss Z friends who are holding a meeting in Interlaken. The following week we will drive southwards in the direction of Cannes/Nice. Using only small roads, ‘over’ the Alps, through little villages. A really great sight-seeing tour. Drive, eat and live like a Frenchman - that is our goal! Overnight, we can stay in a lovely village hotel or on a camping site. Hi Ben, What is light and what is dark? Personally, your blue Z is ‘dark’. White, yellow and silver are light colours and at those cars chrome will not show up as on the darker ones. Like blue, red, green, black and so on.

I would vote for the GOOD friend or a welding shop. I cannot weld too, and I am certainly not going to learn for just those small things. We as hobbyists, we are looking up to this rust as to climbing a mountain. For a ‘ordinary’ welder or a person who does it often it is a piece of cake. Lunch time job!! It amazes me always when I see an American floor, you know why? Always without rubber plugs. What would be worse; the water coming as flood through the holes. And does not go away that easily. OR a little water from wet shoes etc??

I can not say much about this statement but already back in the ‘72 Acropolis rally Mehta and Easter drove a 240Z without ANY Datsun sign???? See picture. This was One year before the Bandama rally, so why not a blue one???

I had hopes Rolf would suggest one thing or two after the weekend. However, he did not so now we can easily say the black and white picture is from Raudet and the blue one is from Metha. With no contra analysis, it is hereby final! ROFL

Alan, Do not mix up these two stories! Quote above is from the 1972 rallye. Raudet is driving in '72 >unfortunately perhaps your picture? As the website claims The blue one is driving at the ’73 perhaps by Mehta???????????? I'm going to sleep
