  1. Are the teeth on the adjuster wheel oriented in the correct way? Wondering if maybe one of the RWC's came with incorrect parts or something. Places where the RWC slides in the slot of the backing plate greased? Just kinda tossing out basic idea's off the top of my head. Let me know if you don't get it solved. I'm off work Weds, & Thurs, and next Sun.
  2. Or "expurts". Like they couldn't even notice the badges on the side and back of the car to figure which it is. :stupid:
  3. ..............his ISP, his friends camera, their computer, their ISP, the Uni computer, it's DSL / T1 line, yadda, yadda, yadda.
  4. Yes, I believe you're correct on that.
  5. 73 240Z's originally sold in CA did have a Carbon Canister.(at least the one I owned did. It was mfg'd in 3/73)
  6. Great News Victor! Something prompted me to ask about your car today. (Maybe my psyche heard her calling for you to come and bring her home!) :D
  7. What I have done is to wedge a piece of soft wood between the cam gear and the side of the head to kinda lock the cam/chain/etc from turning. Put a 22mm (I think) socket with 1/2" breaker bar on the bolt, and whack the breaker bar with a 3 lb. sledge hammer. Has worked every time for me. Of course you must use something to wedge the chain tensioner in place, as stated above.
  8. Hi Wayne. Did I ever tell you that I hate drum brake problems like this? As you know, the adjusting is supposed to stop at some point. If all the parts are new, it's probably something simple in terms of assembly. Wish I didn't have plans for tomorrow or I'd come down an help you play with it.
  9. Dashed home at lunch & scored 15 of 20. Hmm. thought a self described "professional" would have done better than that!
  10. picture doesn't work
  11. Damn, and me stuck at work until evening. I have an MS Excel document at home that has a similar test. Great fun to take. I scored well on it, but really, does it matter if they are "enhanced" or not? If they are "real" enough for me to be able to touch, that's "real" enough for me. Oh, Dwight; You were right about Tivo. I am watching a lot more TV shows now that it helps me find, and not miss the good stuff!
  12. Vic: Maybe it's dumb to ask, but I was wondering if there was any news on your car or the A-Hole who tried to cash your checks? Still hoping you get her back. Carl
  13. , That's a good one Rob!
  14. Check my gallery for a pic of my floorpan. No dent. It's not the body color anymore as I applied POR15 Rust preventative coating. EDIT: Guess it didn't get uploaded like I thought. It's done now, should be approved on Sat. 01-24-04 with any luck. Sorry.
