  1. While on the subject of cooling, does a Crossflow Radiator cool better than a top down stock one? I would guess the fluid stays in the cool lines longer then just flowing down with gravity?
  2. I don't know about slow moving wipers, but I have one that dose not move at all. Passenger side (left drive) wiper. I will have to remove the cowl to inspect the descrepency, I don't think it is connected. Any suggestions?
  3. What would the cost be for this grill from one of the websites?
  4. This would also be a good time to rebuild the engine. Then you can have 0 miles on the engine and not worry about it braking down in the near future.
  5. Thank you for all your comments. Carl, I am going to be putting a bigger swaybar on. It is a 1" and will be the one from the Orange car. It already has a plate made to fit. I had taken off only what I needed to get it off the car. The bolts will fit right in the stock holes.
  6. I guess it is just a matter of personal taste. :nervous:
  7. I was pulling off my front sway bar and it had seemed to be comming out easy. The front drivers side bolt broke halfway into the frame. I'd like to drill it out and then use a tap and die set to redo the threads. Has anyone had any experiance doing tap and die? I hate rusty hardware!
  8. Someone has the right idea.
  9. Yeah, I guess putting the wedge in after the head has been off is pointless. But, I am not using this block. It is an L26 and #6, #4, and #3 pistons are shot to hell. The guy had his timing all jacked up so the pistons smacked the head. The head (E88) has been restored. I want to keep the head and put it on the L28 block. If someone is interested in another L26 block, by all means, contact me. I'd like to give it a good home. It will just end up in a junk yard if no one wants it.
  10. No, Alfadog. All I was saying was for that much money you could get something useful than a damn grill!
  11. You could make one for cheaper and it would look better for 250 bones. I think I'll get a new cam for that much.
  12. No, the head is off the block and I still need some other parts to reinstall the cam. The wire is small enough to run through the chain, wrap around the chain guide and tied through one of the holes in the guide. I think I might have a pic of it.
  13. Sweet! I'm trying to get her as OEM as possable. Thanks Mike!
  14. Is it wrong then if I wanted to put a BRE spoiler and the "Fairlady" badge on my Zed when it is in America?
  15. On my '73, the vents look like they go nowhere. Was Nissan going to put something there later? I also have the emblem with the "Z", but it is not solid. (has 4 cutouts, one top, 2 side and one bottom.) What is the real "Original" one?
  16. I've used a wire until I could find an old piece of wood.

  18. Nope, haven't tried it. But, I am looking for a turbo AFM. Do you know where another one is?

  20. No. I'm sorry. But what you could do it try the Babblefish site. There is a way you can put the whole page in and it will translate everything on the page in the language you want. www.babblefish.com Good luck.
  21. I will post a pic of it in the morning. The radio came in a box full of parts. I don't even know if it even belongs to the Zed. Sorry for giving false info. I shall smite thyself with this hammer! :stupid:
  22. The Dashboard is from PDK Fabrications. I think I found the others from SpiritGarage.com? Check them out.
  23. I wait until they are in the middle of the upstroke to turn them off. The motor will start to slow down and then stop at the bottom of the windshield. (we all know how much it rains in the panhandle of Florida.) My 2c.
  24. I have one from my '73 that I will not be using. If you are interested, PM me. I just want to get rid of it. Thanks
