yea when i found this i had to have it. ZmeFly is ADDICTED TO BOOOOOOOOOST!!!! hehe ya know why because its one thing to take off and spin the wheels but its another to take off then hit the gas and hit boost and spin the wheels while rolling you just got to love that
  10. ACT or CLUTCHMASTERS, also a cheaper solution if you havent done this already would be to go with the 2+2 or turbo flywheel and 240mm clutch disc and pressure plate. much more area for gripping and the turbo clutches seem to have a lot more clamping force.
  11. DOH!!:stupid: well then you cant do that then can you

even in race trim the 350Z still doesnt look all that great:sleepy:

i loved them both, hehe i needed a good laughROFL
  14. i might be interested in taking that trip it sounds like fun. im in south western pa.
  15. then my choice would NOT BE CENTERFORCE. ive heard and seen to many horror stories from them. ie not holding up to pressure, not holding together, exploding clutch discs and the like. not that this is always true and has always happened but it has happened and in more then enough instances that you couldnt give me a CF clutch. if you dont want to go OEM, then i would choose something better imo, which is ACT or CLUTCHMASTERS, and or EXEDY's new DAIKIN line.:classic: my advice stay away from CF, they really arent all that!
  16. just hook a battery up to it and crank that som bitch with the starter. it will work and you will be able to get your compression readings. from there you will exactly know where you stand. if you do or are going to be doing a rebuild irregaurdless, i would most definetly use nissan crank and rod bearings, have the block and the head cleaned and decked for good mating surfaces. have the valves and seats done. there is just so many things but you can go from there. its more of what you want out of the engine and what you want YOUR car to do. others im sure will chime in as you add more information
  17. MAC and KOBALT. i found kobalt tools to be of equal if not better quality then mac in most instances. that is till this year when they changed there line and now you couldnt pay me to buy a set. its a shame to see a quality tool go to crap like this set did.
  18. if you have a 72, if you do have a 70 or 71 what you could do and what i did was modify the shifter instead of cutting into my rust free Z:finger: to me thats the only acceptable thing to do:love:
  19. as well. where the hell did all that metal go:cross-eye id ask them about this problem and if they would gaurentee against my engine failing and or give me something to compensate failure due to the loss of theyre cam metallic substance running threw my engine. talk to them about it and see what they say. id be interested to hear how this all turns out.
  20. crane cams are good as well as iski msa will not gaurentee the cam unless you bought the whole kit.
  21. they did use the same size
  22. id have to find his site but a freind of mine jeff priddy has a stroked turbo motor that was at last count before addition of new mods put 450 to the wheels. definetly an awesome motor. his compression is at 8.5:1
  23. very nice alfa i like it lots. one thing though you need to get some shots of that engine :classic:
  24. the Zedless one speaks out just kidding by the way Alfa do you have any pics of that car of yours?
  25. before but i just love the car over all. i think its a good article and the person that did this car did an excellent job with all that he did to modify the car.
