  1. Does it have Nissan ECU or aftermarket?
  2. Do you have more pics at different angles?
  3. Don’t know any thing about S12+8 vented caliper rotor calipers. My earlier post with S12W calipers that required a vented rotor has to be mounted with the Techno Toys spacer kit. The hub won’t align properly without it.
  4. I installed the S12W calipers on my 78. Used 300zx rotors from stop tech. You need the Techno Toy spacer kit. You also have the nibble off a piece of the backing plate for caliper clearance. The S12W has two large pistons where the S12+8 solid rotor style has one large and one small Piston.
  5. Thanks @mayolives
  6. Needs some help here. Removed the door panels prepping the car to go to paint and body shop. Trying to remove the black adhesive on the door where the plastic moisture barrier was installed. I’ve tried acetone, paint thinner and WD40. The WD40 is the only chemical that works at all but not very well. Basically turns into a slurry mess. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. That’s Matt that was responding. Been there quite a long time.

  11. Search car parts find the number google it. You will find a number of dealers that have them. My suggestion as I did was go down to the local dealer talk to the parts manager and tell him about your project. Chances are he will give you a break. Have the p/n’s ready and he can search. You won’t pay shipping . Worked for me over my journey. Educate yourself and things will come together. Do the research and they will take you seriously.
  12. Front lower control arm bushing. Go to ZCD or MSA. They require a press to remove and install
  13. Are you looking at “carparts manual.com”?
  14. Those trays were built for a 24 series battery. Height and width is the difference. You probably have a 34 series which is shorter. Had to put a thin plank of wood under the battery itself on mine.
  15. Find as many Factory bushings that are still available. Try to stay away from poly IMHO.
  16. Not sure about mounting it that far forward upstream only for the reason Datsun did it for a reason and that was to solve a pulsating issue. Will that increase down the line I don’t know. Never have been one that might create another variable down the road IMO of course
  17. Why not just use another drive shaft that fit's?
  18. Probably a later model shaft. I have a 78 if you are interested.send me a pm and I’ll send it your way.
  19. Having a hard time understanding why they would rebuild a rack and not grease it during the process. Just can’t imagine how it has not been lubricated.
  20. I chose the Trophy because that’s what you deserve for being an educator friend. Congratulations Sir!
  21. Here’s the link to the valve. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KVZT7P5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  22. @Av8ferg actually came up with the idea and I was able to enhance the theory of installing an in line shut off valve about 6 inches away from the supply line coming off the tank itself. From there we ran about another 4” of line into the tank pre-filter.” Wix 3003” from what I’ve found is the only filter that’s still clear and IMO is a better filter. From there straight to the pump inlet. This will allow shutting the supply off while doing routine maintenance on the fuel supply system. I will attach pics of what I have installed and is duplicated on ferg’s car. I believe the hiccup he ran into was buying a less expensive/quality valve that ended up leaking and permitted all the way to the 3rd floor. The wife was not amused! Sorry John had to add that tidbit!
