  1. I am pretty happy with it. Should make ITB or EFI conversions easy and much easier to wire.
  2. What do you mean? Stock Datsun harness is uncut and still there, it will attach to the battery normally.
  3. Why would I put my Haltech R3 in my engine bay?Well I’m doing the opposite of most people and going with my ecu in my engine bay. My 240z has dealer AC (it’s huge) and I hate having my ecu on my passenger kick panel. I have so little room there and I currently have a 5v short I cannot find. My harness is a mess from multiple ecu changes and wiring changes and it’s time to start over. The R3 is a 4 channel PDM with an internal 150amp fuse. So it can power my injectors, coils and fuel pump and leave me with 1-2 extra circuits for later down the line. Having it here will allow me to make a sexy harness that is fully serviceable and the whole thing will basically drop in. The mount will be getting cnc cut this week. The goal is a no holes drilled mount and no holes drilled in my car install, using a Braille battery. It will attach with dual J/V bolts.
  4. Almost got it done. Such a pain in the as* I probably should have started over, from my old ecu to this ecu wiring.
  5. I always thought the freeze plug was a terrible idea. I would vent it to a catch can, at least.
  6. I finally found some hours to start making the wiring not look like a rats nest. Instead of fuses and relays, I am using a small PDM. So that complicated things, I am also using a buss plug for 5v sensors and all ground wires.
  7. Finally found some time and finished up the engine bay for my new ITB setup! Next is finalizing my rat nest or wires. Swapping ecus and adding a few circuits made a mess. I’m happy with how it’s turning out.
  8. I think if the throttle blades close enough at idle, allowing pcv to function it could work, but then they would tend to stick. Maybe the SU's close off more? I have a patented stack filter, that I am working on, that if done correct, it would be a great place for the pcv to go. I never found a balance of non sticking throttles and working pcv.
  9. Well done dude! I never got PCV and ITB to play nicely. Caused almost a vac like leak. The issue was my idle ended up too high for my liking. So I ditched it. I am going to give the exhaust method a shot.
  10. Well look at this snazzy haltech s3 ecu mount by Galgo! All I can say is wow. I guess this means it’s time to finish my wiring from my 750 to my new S3. This is for the passenger kick panel on a 240z.
  11. Pretty close to my vin! I am 20212, same color. I have the AM/FM radio, I have the original manual, my neighbor owned the car since it was new and cannot remember having the radio replaced. Maybe the dealer did? I would say it looks factory installed, but I could be wrong. I also have the white wall spare. Which some people have said was odd? My z is crazy low mileage. But sadly she danced on the roof and had her resprayed in the 70s, extremely poorly. Good luck on the sale, it looks like a ludicrous amount of time was put into it!
  12. Kind of ghetto, but I am proud of it.
  13. This unit mounts below a single throttle body, this exact setup is only for efi hardware to perhaps the mikuni throttle bodies. Since their butterflies open the opposite way of any other throttle on the market, I have another direction unit I could use as well. That would work for jenvy, borla etc... Its designed to actuate a single arm on a throttle or the overheard bar. Depends on the setup. Currently I have 3 others using it. My intake, perhaps the jenvy tilted up intake and perhaps the FET intakes could work with it. Pushing it up and away from the header.

  15. Chrome is more rare these days, but zinc shops are all over the place. A few datsun guys do it as a side hustle.
  16. I wont be drive it till spring. The road chemicals are nasty here.
  17. For you that have been following along. My 3.12L is finally in my car and home. Gosh it looks so good I’m just going to stare at it! Amazing work by Andrew Kazanis! This engine was built and done prior to a shop fire. So it’s been through a lot! I love the contrast of the stock blue block and gold zinc and black. It features. My 3.1L 10.2:1 compression ratio 88.5mm bore. N42 block. Sonic tested. LD crank by marine crankshaft. Crank Off-set grind to 84.6 strokeFinish rod journals @ 1.8889" Thrust Finish 1.27”R & R plugs with threaded plugsDynamic BalanceIon-Plasma nitride, straighten & micro-Micro polish all journals E31 head. Port work by Andrew Kazanis Dsi valves Diameter: 45/36.5mm Length: 118mm, titanium retainers. Isky springs. Bonk cam. Roughly stock exhaust and intake port sizes. Vapor honed inside and out. Mine is 88.5x88.5x.25x3.14159x 84.6x6 /1000 = 3122cc It is showing off my intake design and Efi throttle bodies as well as a bunch of my small parts.
  18. Finally got my exhaust finished. With the kenmeri header mated to my Fujitsubo exhaust. There was a small gap between the flanges. Designed up a small spacer. This is 316 stainless.
  19. A fun z video I just was sent. It has my R35 coil bracket on it and has over a 1/4 million views! How cool is that.
  20. Working on PCV again, I am going to try for the exhaust. My basic plan is, valve cover to stock pcv valve, to a catch can, then block to the catch can, catch can to the exhaust.
  21. Very cool! I love my ZCG brake kit. The KW stuff is probably amazing, but I can't stand the purple and yellow:)
