I had a similar experience with some repop braided hoses in that the braided sleeve was very difficult to keep in place while working the clamps...then as a result some started to fray.

This should probably be in the carb discussion section rather than electronics.

Thank you! Oh there's rust in it, not too bad though in most places. I think that under the hatch sill is probably the worst of it.

I got it running and driving back in May. Finally got it insured and new tags in June then took it down the street to fill it with gas. Today was the first day I really got it out and drove it...in all about 55 miles. She needs some tweaking to run better still though it was still really nice to be able to drive her again. I did not see where they sell just the wire harness. Am I missing something?

Am I dreaming or do I remember correctly that someone somewhere had created a plug-in pigtail that 'converted' our US based wiring to the JDM for use with the JDM lens? The purpose of the pigtail is to prevent from having to cut into the factory wire harness.

I figured at least some of them were for the radio. Are they all radio related? There is no radio in the car. I'll install one so I will need to know what wires are for what please.

Does anyone have the PROPER way to connect the under dash electronic fuel pump wiring in a 240Z? For testing purposes the connection in this picture (green and black/white wires) was jumpered and it worked. Being that there is a molex plug here there must be more to wiring it up properly. I've been told that the factory had it wired to the oil pressure gauge so that if the car lost oil pressure it would stop the fuel pump.

What is the round part that is on the front of the cam which the fuel pump arm rides? I'm needing to get one and need to know what it is called so I can search for it.
