  1. I suppose it could also be bedliner.
  2. That is NOT factory. It looks painted or perhaps sprayed on...and appears thick in some locations. Very difficult to tell what it may be from the picture so this is a big huge wild guess...I'd say it is rust inhibitor of some sort (think POR15, Rustoleum, etc.) and if that is the case you no doubt have rust under it.
  3. Here's one I do not recall seeing posted yet. https://www.hagerty.com/marketplace/auction/1970-datsun-240z/6GCpSGa9ml7BRIZZCDBmQ3
  4. That crack is original, not aftermarket. lol
  5. Thank you for bringing this up and providing this detail. It reminded me to look at what I put on my car because I was wondering why my speedo was off. I have 185/65/14, and now I know why my speedo is inaccurate. :D
  6. Mine came from this eBay seller: https://www.ebay.com/str/datsun240zrestorationinfo I bought mine in March of 2021.
  7. I had a similar experience with some repop braided hoses in that the braided sleeve was very difficult to keep in place while working the clamps...then as a result some started to fray.
  8. This should probably be in the carb discussion section rather than electronics.
  9. I've been considering one of these https://elementfire.com/collections/allproducts?srsltid=AfmBOop1i3bQdDrnL5UNuRlAc9IKXHMnzZQNFkACtpUP9xFyZ-Q8Bepe I'm looking at the larger one, the E100, as it has double the 'run time'.
  10. Thank you! Oh there's rust in it, not too bad though in most places. I think that under the hatch sill is probably the worst of it.
  11. I got it running and driving back in May. Finally got it insured and new tags in June then took it down the street to fill it with gas. Today was the first day I really got it out and drove it...in all about 55 miles. She needs some tweaking to run better still though it was still really nice to be able to drive her again. This short video is in after I got back home. 20250726_125928.mp4
  12. I did not see where they sell just the wire harness. Am I missing something?
  13. Am I dreaming or do I remember correctly that someone somewhere had created a plug-in pigtail that 'converted' our US based wiring to the JDM for use with the JDM lens? The purpose of the pigtail is to prevent from having to cut into the factory wire harness.
  14. Got it, thank you! Now to see if I can figure out what it is saying. lol
  15. I have not. Is that in a files/resources section of the website?
