You can compare my signature photos below to see the additions I made to mine. Everything is completely reversible. Although I have a small storage building full of parts.

A/F ratio for L28
I just remembered that I have a friend from high school that lives in LA with a smokin arse diesel pickup. He uses his parents Alabama address to get away with it. Maybe you have someone in a less restrictive state you could title it in? I'm done stomping Stanley's thread and I apologize to you Stanley. Cliff

I thought the P90 was an N42 with better quench? Wouldn't milling a small amount raise the CR? Just talking, OP. We like to talk/type. You should consider bigger intake valves for the E88. I love my 2.4's higher revving. Stay on your course!

I'll buy it and lease it to you. You'd be the cats meow with Alabama plates.

A "green card wedding". Rules are meant to be bent.

I thought the same Charles but to each his own. If you hadn't already secured a 2.4 & E88 I would be more than happy to trade a spare I have for the F54/P90 combo you have. Cliff

They match the rear brake light finisher panel which is a Duplicolor Graphite spray paint. Here's the thread with pics, click on "CanTechZ replied to a topic" below. Here's the best one's I've seen, https://stripegarage.com/collections/datsun-240z-260z-280z/products/datsun-240-z-triple-stripe-vinyl-decal?variant=14729170374

I took the OE 4 speed out of my '72 and installed a later 280z 5 speed without issue other than the clutch collar. The 4 speed is shorter so the collars have to match the transmission.

Looks like a R180 to me but it's hard to tell. My R180 with a 5 speed does excellent on the highway.

That F54 is a popular upgrade for "restomod" I think they call it. Here's a good read... http://datsunzgarage.com/engine/

The original '72 240Z's R180 is smaller and more of a square shape. Hope this helps.

My 240z project
That's what it is. When you "click to chose file" and it uploads then you click the "+" to add it to your post. Go back and EDIT, backspace until its gone then scroll down and click the trash can in the uploaded photo. When I didn't send the uploaded pic to trash it showed up again.

Rebuilt engine idle problems, running rich
The oil rings are tricky to align and space the gaps. Thank goodness I bought the Tom Monroe book, How to Rebuild the L motor. Glad you got everything, it's a Christmas Miracle! Gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling...no wait that's the eggnog.

Cannot get injector pulse - passes EFI bible tests!
I knew you had mentioned it but didn't read back far enough. I caught S30's post and went from there. That's what happens when you don't keep up. Glad it came back around and was resolved. Early Christmas present I'd say. I love this forum!

Apple's doing us a favor.
Yeah, like Datsun did with the ZX.

Apple's doing us a favor.
They're slowing down older versions to save the battery's life span.

77 280z with N47 head, stock engine, should I remove exhaust port inserts? Does it help?
I've always used it there, after reading steel into aluminum needs it. Read applications, automobiles https://www.permatex.com/products/lubricants/specialty-lubricants-anti-seize/permatex-anti-seize-lubricant-2/ Automobile Suggested Applications: For easy removal of spark plugs, cylinder head and exhaust head bolts; apply to anchor pins on brake assemblies, u-bolts and spring bolts, hinges, gears, chain, sprockets and rollers.
