That's a tough call. know the sticker says 918 but it sure looks like 110 to me as well. I bought some touch-up 918 off amazon.com and it matched perfectly. Here's some pics of the two I've owned, 110 and 918. 918 original single stage paint from '72 in different lighting... 110 original paint from '72...

I think any 240 done right is money in the bank no matter how original. There will be someone who likes what you like and will pay for your hard work. Like wheee! says, go for it!

I can't remember if you were ever at Eglin AFB Dennis? Seems like you were though. I love that area, North West Panhandle. Spent 10 years there doing storm restoration from '95 until 2005. Good memories, some are a little fuzzy though but overall great times. Biloxi is nice too.

That would go over very well in my neck of the woods too Wayne. We have nothing, not even Uber. The local dicks won't allow sober driver pick up option. We don't even have taxi service here just city owned "dial a ride" mini buses for the really poor folks to get groceries. I've thought about calling and asking if they'd carry me to the liquor store! Maybe something I could do one day? I'd love to have a garage to let people use for minor wrenching. I could sell beer and nachos. Toilet charge also.

Turned right until it was tight and held it, turned left until it was tight again. 2 and three quarters, one more spoke would've been 3 complete but it stopped short. 15" wheels on my 240 FYI. I just filled mine up with $1.96 a gallon 87 octane. Started back driving it to work. Good heat, no A/C. How do I do the L-L test? See how many times the wheel turns to get from all the way left until all the way right? I can do that to the 240 maybe today or tomorrow.

Paint the exterior grey. Inside red, blood red! Great combo. Reminds me of the Black Knight from Holy Grail, "merely a flesh wound". Also the White House Christmas trees. Bloody Forrest.

$3,500 with the one picture you've provided is all we can see offering. Those ZXs have a good transmission if it's a manual and the power plant is at the top end of engineering for the L series motor. You're really Christmas catalog wishing right now. Need more info. Knock on the door or put a letter in his mailbox if your scared to knock. I have a neighbor with no grass and am not knocking on his door! I think he killed it with Roundup? I had a similar accident removing the interior panel in the hatch to get to my power antenna on my '77. Didn't think much of it until blood soaked my hair and I got cold Went to a "Doc in a box" down the street and had 7 or 8 staples put in. I hit mine on the bottom of the raised hatched. Then @Mark Maras topped me with his injury, OUCH!

IMO $3,500 on the high side. I would try and buy it plus you may start a relationship with the neighbor? Neighbors are nice to have but keep at a distance. Friends that aren't really friends. I don't like mine but we speak. Boundaries!

That was about 3 years ago, a photo from when I was selling it. The OE white had turned to more of a butterscotch color. There was a few small places under the console close to the radio that didn't get the newer look. Yep that's the original dash but it had two cracks up top that had been filled with a low sheen silicone type caulk. Looked pretty good too. I wish like hell I still had that car. The prices have gone up so much since I sold it for $6,000 I could get $12,000 at least today. 3 car garage with all Zs in there. My daily car baked in the sun outside. I went to church one Father's Day soaked with sweat. I swore then one had to go! Looking back I would have been better off adding on to my garage.

I had a 240 with SEM white, I'll guess it was satin but it looked fantastic.

You should also do some downhill gear down braking. That will suck the rings against the cylinder walls.

Sarcasm runs pretty deep on here so the boat will plenty of depth to stay upright.
