Somethings wrong...
It's had me scared for the past few days, I live in the woods but lucky for me they've cut all the pines out already. Those tall Southern pines are ticking bombs around here. Dad said he had to get to it first and then he just straight wired it somehow and the clutch kicked in and it started blowing cold. What he did before checking that switch I don't know. It's a fairly new Lincoln Town Car and all the crap on the dash had to be a nightmare to remove. I imagine my Dad made the mechanic mad complaining so he charged him top dollar I'm sure. You know that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

My Dad spent $250 to find out the A/C switch on the control panel was bad, not allowing the compressor to engage. I actually just got back from pulling one at a junkyard for him. I got the whole panel for free, they are going to crush the car when the metal prices go up some anyway. Fortunately the guy that took the dash apart to troubleshoot can now put it back together, not me.

All-new Z car (code-named Z35) will honor the legendary Datsun
New Lexus LC looks a lot like the Nissan Z concept car to me. Yep, I believe I would.

Interior carpet choices- help a noob
You may have some bad rubber allowing water to get in, that old musty car smell? I live in a very humid area and found a gun safe dehumidifier in the cabin helped a lot. https://www.amazon.com/Improved-Eva-dry-E-333-Renewable-Dehumidifier/dp/B000H0XFCS/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1493815584&sr=1-2&keywords=gun+safe+dehumidifier

@Zed Head I would quickly be asked to leave my neighborhood if I bought those. Low vins don't interest me anyway. Thanks though.

MSA Exhaust system 2.5" gasket replacement pipe to pipe
back the timing closer to spec and see if that decreases the popping. Didn't you say yesterday an exhaust shop said there was no leaking? That's who would know and will have high quality gaskets if needed.

Are Bridgestones the OE tires for 240s? I keep seeing them as the original spare. Mine has a "Metric" spare. Thanks for any information. Cliff

When and Where did You get yours?
I bought a '76 in 1986 after my Dad kept taking my Camaro away every time I did something he didn't like, about once a month. I had a savings account he didn't know about that my Mom started when they divorced. Bought the Z and had it registered in my Mother's name and told him to drive that Camaro up his arse. He was a big "buy American" guy back then so it really stung for him but about 5 years later my girlfriend slung a rod cap through the block of my 2nd Z. A '78 that me and my Dad rebuilt together. It wouldn't crank at first so he goes to work and ask his friends, he had the firing order set to a straight six Chevy or Ford, changed the wires around and BOOM ran like a champ.

BAT says put dual webers on it but those SUs after a rebuild, I think paid Ztherapy $160 for the parts and instructional dvd, will be fine. Love that color. Looks like a great car too.

If you've changed the afm make sure there's not a crack in the accordion boot. Its easily done to forty year old rubber.

I can honestly say that is the ugliest ZX I've ever seen but to each his (most likely her) own.

Replacing exhaust system on my 72 240z from the manifold to the back
That's normal with a performance exhaust, both my Zs do it and all the motorcycles I've had did it too. If it bothers you go to neutral, brake pads are cheaper than transmissions anyway. Someday you should watch and listen to an F1 race, they pop like crazy and usually have flames coming out. I think it's unburnt fuel/air mixture that causes it.

When my battery is low my blinkers won't blink, they light up but stay solid. After an overnight 2 amp charge they're fine.
