  2. Cool.. I'd like to get a video of that segment and put it in our gallery.
  3. Oh yea, that's the name... the other show is on Animal Planet... my OTHER channel. Or, I wonder if it's Real TV? I can't find "Max Ex" on the Spike TV website.
  4. Anyone watch the TV show called "Max EX?" It's on SPIKE TV a lot. Anyway, I saw a shot of a rally Zcar that lost control coming around a corner and took out one of the photographers. It was quite frightening, but, the photographer lived to tell about it. You should have seen the video of this Z coming at the guy full speed!!! It was amazing. -- Mike

  6. I don't believe you can get these anymore. Try to visit our sponsor, Motorsport Auto. http://www.zcarparts.com They might be able to source them for you..
  7. Nice!!! Hey, I am in the Albany/Corvallis area. Any get-togethers planned?
  8. I would complain if I lived in a neighborhood with a car in the front lawn with grass growing around it. Call me selfish, but, my home is an investment and I want that value to grow. I have had my fair-share of cars in the driveway, but, they usually aren't there longer than a week or two. If I do keep a junker, it's hidden along the side and out-of-sight from the front. Our neighborhood has CC&R's to cover this kind of thing. These are ordinances to control things like this. It also covers things like house paint color, commercial businesses, storage materials, etc. It's all pretty normal stuff.
  9. It is a Z. Don't let anyone tell you it is not a fun car to drive. A lot of people are hardcore Z-only lovers and will tell you that it is not a real Z. Some of them even hate the new Z and just don't think anything else but an early car is the way to go. However, I believe that even a ZX is a fun car to drive. The X actually stands for "luxury" and there are several videos in our gallery that depict quite a marketing venture toward that fact. When compared to an early Z (240, 260, 280), a ZX is a different flavor of a Z. In fact, there will soon be a time when the ZX becomes a classic in itself. -- Mike
  10. You know what might look even better? Instead of an amber lens, how about a clear lens with an amber bulb? Not sure how this would look on a classic though.... Has anyone looked into this?
  11. I don't have any proof of this, but, most of the experience I have with parts suggest that both of these vendors are most-likely getting these from the same supplier. Again, I don't have any proof that this is the case for these lenses. But, I wouldn't doubt it. Anyway, back to the basics of LWW's intent. We have a chance to get lenses for $200 a set. There is obviously a requirement to change some electrical to make it look perfect, but, it doesn't mean this opportunity is not valid. I am putting in a deposit.... -- Mike
  12. You guys are too much.... Please get this thread back on topic and discuss this seriously. I can't be called in for every disagreement. This is actually a good discussion and it shouldn't get personal... M
  13. What do you guys think this car will sell for ? Or, where do you suppose the reserve is at? It is a nice car and, if the price is right, would make a great car for someone.
  14. Victor is the one who approves photos. He might be doing things with his family due to Thanksgiving. I'll see if I can get in there and take a look...
  15. Relax guys... everyone likes boobs. But we already have a boob thread. Keep it in there.
  16. What did you buy? Post some picts!!
  17. I love those rims!! You definitely have to post picts after they are on your car.
  18. You'll get that anywhere. Anytime you get a bunch of guys who think they know everything. I do believe people around here need to take things a little less seriously.
  19. Did you possibly consider that it was the truth and the car simply needed some work to get them where they got? I mean, they didn't do so bad and made the Z a pretty famous part of racing history.

  21. Nice job to that guy. Since it's a commercial rig, you'll probably be able to go for a bigger settlement. He probably should have been paying more attention especially since he's got explosives on board. Sheesh....
  22. Sounds like a lot of fun and an opportunity of a lifetime. How many people actually take time off to go on adventures like this!? That's awesome and I'm jealous. Take some picts and be safe.
  23. Guys, please kill the flaming in this thread.
  24. It's gotta be the transition of the roof to the rear hatch area. The side shot of the 1/4 window in the rear.
  25. Yep, the infamous clunk can only be cured by replacing all of the rear-end bushings. U-joints, diff mount, etc.... I finally got rid of mine by replacing the two bushings that hold the diff in place (cross member).
