  5. I haven't read your whole thread because I just don't have the effort to scroll through 7 pages. But, just curious if you've already swapped out the cap and rotor for a genuine Nissan product? I've seen stuff like this happen with the cheap Chinese knock offs. I'd hate to see 7 pages of debugging information only to find out that your cap/rotor combo are poor quality or maybe even the wrong part? Just throwing ideas, again apologies if this has already been asked. I've done a lot of work on engines in my lifetime to know that cheap parts only cost you money (and time).
  6. Without seeing a rear or side view, I bet he's running pretty wide and deep dish. Those fender flares are probably installed over cut body panels. Offset it probably not zero if he's running stock struts. Then again, if it's a race car I doubt he's running stock suspension under that car.
  7. Congrats on the new baby! I really like the BMW Z-series and it looks like you picked up a nice one.

Yeah, let's hope... Let's pray these current shots given to the masses will eventually turn into vetted and approved vaccines.

Here you go, law abiding citizens.... CDC and the White House says you can now go unmasked outside. A light at the end of the tunnel perhaps? ------------ Dated Apr. 27, 2021 Fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to wear a mask outside, except in crowded settings, under new guidelines released Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. During a White House briefing, public health officials said fully vaccinated individuals can unmask while walking, running, hiking, or biking outdoors alone or with members of their household. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
  19. I would look into replacing those battery terminals, frayed ends like that are just scary to me. 😉

Ah yes, I really like seeing the perspective from someone who has actually seen bad things happen. I agree that it's not such a big deal to wear a mask or socially distance from each other for a few years. However, I think this demonstration was concerning in a few ways (other than the rebellion from lockdown). They disagree with the vaccination passport.. I know many are concerned a passport like this can be discriminatory. And, the sheer lack of coverage for this event. It's obvious the media is pushing their own agenda, which isn't surprising...

Yeah, definitely strange times. I remember watching movies about pandemics and wondered if it could ever happen. At least this one we aren't all turning into zombies. I feel ya about the club being a lifeline. I have been focusing on the back end development for quite some time. Moving to a new domain host, organizing a server replacement, programming some online stuff (hopefully microfiche online soon), and just general club activity. I wish I could say I was working on my Z or at least driving it. Need to get out and kick the tires again now that spring is here. And yes I really despise TV these days. I cut the cable a few years ago but we still get over the air broadcasts. Every time I watch for 10-15 minutes and just shut it off.

Well it looks like the UK has had it with the restrictions. Over 10k people coming out to protest and stand against government control and this idea of a vaccination passport. Photos courtesy of Reuters... links below. https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/anti-lockdown-protesters-defy-restrictions-central-london-march-2021-04-24/ Meanwhile, I've heard reports that other news agencies are not covering the demonstration or some of them are lying by saying there are only a few hundred people in attendance. https://www.bbc.com/news (currently no coverage on their website)
