I had a cat hanging there but it started to smell.
  2. Yeah, it's all bare metal in the rocker and dogleg, not even primer was applied, but then the design team were probably thinking the cars would have maybe a 10-15 yr lifespan.
  3. I received a tracking number today. Originating in Karachi, Pakistan. Looks like it will be here in about a week. Looking forward to seeing these pieces

The Trico 44-200 is the same blade but 20" instead of 18". I just cut them down. Available on EBay for $15 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266517031540 Roo

Two of my cats disapprove of that joke 😁

What about these? I thought the diff between 44-180 and 43-180 is plastic frame vs steel respectively. All Years Chevrolet Camaro Parts | F309 | Trico-Style Wiper Blade Insert; 18"; Each; Replaces 43-180 | Classic Industries This is an unproven guess though.

Well, I’m doing this now. Once I had the stub axles in the diff felt really chunky and would occasionally lock up as I twisted them back and forth. I flushed it and couldn’t find any metal, but things never really improved. Luckily (I guess) I have a duplicate Torsen carrier. It isn’t exhibiting the same issues so I’m swapping it in. Just waiting for some bits so I can finish this up.

This may work as a refill: https://www.ebay.com/itm/372381862823?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOork85zINr1I7vDqi1EE8txMRzlB3Rdt3yqsD9J0r8v6-opGAn7c44M Also look up OER F309 as a possibility. Here's one you could try if you like taking chances: https://shop.remotepracticemanagers.com/products/car-windscreen-wiper-blade-insert-natural-rubber-strip-nr-6mm-refill-1416171819202122242628-1pcs-car-accessories?variant=43954329026790

I have these on mine. No issues, bought at local parts chain. Advance I believe... Trico 44-180
  12. Yes, and I believe it is because of the multilayer complexity. Lots of surface area and low on the car. All those layers get wet but can't get dry and it's not galvanized. A modern chassis dip would probably help alot.

A delayed shipment arriving months later reminds me of a recent experience with Motorsport Auto. Two holiday seasons ago, I ordered a bunch of interior panels to take advantage of their holiday free shipping promotion. They were mostly out of stock with unknown ETA, so I told them to substitute other items into the order to get the free shipping. This past spring (over a year since the original order), I got a call from MSA telling me they had received a shipment of interior panels and they asked if I still wanted the items from my original order. I was surprised that they held on to the canceled order details for over a year. I told them that a big part of the reason for the original order was to get the free shipping, and they offered to honor the free shipping from the original order so I completed the order.
