  1. I broke the camel's back, metaphorically. Too many gives and too many gots.
  2. Headed out to a small town about 15 miles from our place to get a signal, and watch the championship finale from Phoenix today, as the trees are still laying on the power and phone lines, and without power and phone, no tv or innernets. Sitting in the parking lot of a local tire shop, watching the race on my iPad. The road is still impassable, requiring use of the top secret back entrance to the Batcave.
  3. Soldering iron tip is my guess. Not Z related.
  4. Yes , I checked it and confirmed nothing there. Please see this picture, a passenger side (Left seat ) rear deck. Kats
  5. Interesting! If the plastic ATO fuse body survives the soldering heat as well as the internal fusible metal, then this is actually not a bad idea! I will get my soldering iron out today for sure. Imagine the fun of intentionally shorting a 12v battery across a bunch of AGC fuses to blow them up for use! Zap Zap!
  6. From what I remember when I was thinking about building up my e31 was the cut cams used the valves from the 2.8 zx heads. p79, p90, not sure about the n42 or n47. @Diseazd would know for sure. You'll need shorter valve seals too. I've got all the stuff just not the time to do it. Maybe I'll have a long cold winter and turn my kitchen into a machine shop? Found these on ebay 10 or more years ago, a must have from all I've read. Edit secret: you can get the cam kit a helluva lot cheaper straight from Schneider. Sorry msa...
  7. Richard: I have found that the wire is quite malleable, you can straighten out the hooks on the ends and bend them tighter. If you have any spare ones try it, as with any wire too many back and forth bends will end up breaking. Dan
  8. I'm in. Oh, and "Two tubie slitty thingys." I dated her in high school.
