  1. I wish I new enough to take credit for all he knows!! That is from the brain of a member that goes by Blue. I'm just the middle man and president of his fan club here in Alabama. President vice president and secretary. I fold up the chair after meetings too.
  2. maybe cleaning the bolts up real good will help because i forgot to mention that my battery cables are brand new as well
  3. So I saw Redbird yesterday and put it up on jack stands. I watched as Jai sat in it and let out the clutch. The noise Jai is hearing is her differential lifting and bouncing around when it's put in gear. When it torques, I think it is lifting and causing the driver side axle to lift up and pinch a little making the connecting bolts tat tat tat when turning as well as hitting the body. I should have shot a video to better describe it . I didn't have much room to really check but the Diff strap was not obviously broken and I could not get a good visual on the mount insulator. Those would be my first guess without putting the car on a rack or at least a hard surface. Any one have any spares or any other suggestions? Driver side U-joint, sorry for the blurry pic. Diff mount U-joint at differential Back to the throttle issue, I think the next time out we probably need to check out the TPS and the throttle itself as it still has a rough idle when warming up but it revs just fine. It might just need a good cleaning out.
  4. Took the cars for thier last ride together, the blue -72 euro spec car is now sold.
  5. 1 point
With that air dam, the owner would have to relocate the turn signals to the grill. Jegs has a good price on a urethane air dam with free shipping.
  6. Looking forward to it, I'm just about to send him the 2 service lids on either side of the hood.
  7. Now, in this first pic, if I squint my eyes a bit I can almost imagine that all the work is done and the car is finished. Everything fits under the hood but it is still pretty tight around the steering rack, I may still have to cut up the crossmember and drop that steering rack another 3/4". Thanks rossiz
