    Good stuff. Clever way to measure rocker too. I think the oiling rod on #6 exhaust is on the way out with the bend.

    If you wanna make around 175/200 hp on the L24. I would use stock internal parts on the engine and nothing else, maybe a stage 1 cam and head ( flow ) work would be recommended. Also triple carbs would increase hp output.

    I believe I've seen 600 as the number for a full engine/trans package with everything dripping wet. I used to have a double 2x6 across two ceiling trusses from which I hung a chain hoist and pulled full eng/trnas packages for years. Roof is still where I left it.
