Can someone please tell me what a #2 1979 280zx with only 76k is worth? It's a 5SPEED, new wheels and tires and all original paint, I'm trying to buy it ,It's a one owner car the poor man is not well and loves this car!!! Always garage kept& never driving in rain or snow!!! No rust ever!

Not that its a true representation of worth, but there's an '81 ZX N/A with 109k miles on it in similar condition on Seattle Craigslist for $8500.

79 is a desirable year because it does not have T tops which were introduced the following year.  Except for the wheels, appears to be in original condition, including the radio.

I would say it's in the 9 to 12K range.

No more than 10K if it were me but he may take 85 or so cash.

9.5K tops, ideally 8.5K. Work it, baby.

What's the asking price?

I think that's quite fair.

Soooo, the only question should be, "Which do I like more, the Z or $8,000 in my checking account?".
