Hidden FI in DCOE carbs

How about you mount a pair of fuel injectors inside the stock air cleaner box aimed into the mouth of each carb?
Remove the suction pistons and put the domes back on.
Disconnect the original fuel line back at the tank and install an electric EFI pump back at the tank.
One dead headed innocuous black fuel line running into the fuel filter to feed the injectors.

Hey... Nobody said it was a GOOD idea... :)

Don't forget about your fuel supply system. Now your talking high pressure system that will require upgraded fuel lines that have a more substantial return line.  So you need a bigger pump, a place to put it , lines to supply and return it. Power to the pump if you don't really have an electric pump now - which should really involve a relay.

Then you can move on to the ECU installation .

not trying to slight this product- I think it's great and considered the OER version myself. I've been in the process of the carb to FI conversion and it is involved - just so you know

In addition to the relay, an inertia switch would be a very good idea to kill fuel pump power in case of an accident.
