As you say, once it is painted dark green you might not even notice it, it looks pretty consistent in your latest photo.

Do you know when yours were made?  I bought mine I guess about 7-8 yrs ago and they sure didn't fit like that.

Bought mine in 2015 from Calgary warehouse. All stock in Canada is held there so yours should have been the same pile...
