All original is nice but I like an upgraded, (which could include stripped down), personalized Z as long as the changes are done well.

I agree. This is going to be a driver so it needs to functional, practical & fun!

^^Agree^^. That's why I'm working on a stock 77 hood now for my Z. Hate this hood now.

Plus I need to re-install the original grill bringing the marker lights back up to the stock location.

Ah hell, maybe I should just start over and rebuild from the ground up.

Wheee!, keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the new door panels. I can use a set for my 77.

I went with the 240Z turing lights because I wanted the 240Z air-dam. The 280Z air-dam has a much bigger gap under the bumper (a difference of about 50mm).

All the mods I have done so far are reversable. Not that Lm planning on going back, but I like to have the option.

Prepped the frame supports for welding into place for support. The rails were cleaned and sprayed with Eastwood Frame Sealant

Next is the cutting and the butt welding etc. Notice the panel is all held in with cleco clips for quick removal!
