Parts to replace the fusible links arrived today. Works pretty good and I have installed some test fuses that are the flat metal style. They should act the same as fusible link wire. Need to source more accurate amperage sized fuses.
Voltage indication is accurate (according to my digital power supply) and fuse integrity LEDs work good too.

Voltage indication goes out in about 30 seconds of inactivity of current draw. LEDs stay on but draw near to zero amps.

Looks good Chris! Never thought of angling them...

Fergie is a great guy, glad he is getting some more business from the Z community!

Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device....

Could be worse. Or is it worse & we haven't seen the other likely places?

This is by far the worst of the rust. Other likely location (battery tray, trunk) are in very good shape.

Just think, after you finish with the rust, NOTHING will deter you ever again!  ;)

Let's hope so!

In other news, the rotisserie arrives this Thursday!

Which one did you get? I'm doing some light research on them and don't really know where to start.

There's a video of it earlier in the thread. It is a home made unit that a friend built for his 280. Not perfect but still very functional. I will mod it a bit I think to balance the car a bit better.
