[2015] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?

Featured Replies

Got the 240Z up on the bridge for regular check, and treated " to be " rust spots and greased everything, filled up tranny oil. Also did points and new plugs. Ready to go again. :)

Got the dash extension in, the BSR GTU air scoop mounted and some gold insulation film installed on the header side of the engine bay and tunnel.

Went for a rid in the Z with my wife's friend's husband, and let him drive the Z.   Have a feeling he'll be looking for an old sports car to restore... :)

NASA or King Tut inspired?  :)

NASA for sure. Really easy to use but I'm not sure how it will stand up. All the 2000 and later F1 and endurance cars use it. Not expensive.

For a long time I've been planning to spruce up area in front of the rad in my car as it has been neglected for a long time. So today was the day, mainly old grime and overspray from a 35 year old re paint. The horns and wiring harness cleaned up OK.

Looks good. Was the plug end for a block heater?

Thanks, not a perfect job but better than when I started. And yes the plug end is for a block heater, it really came in handy during winters when this was my daily driver back in the 80's.

Installed 6-1 headers and a 2 1/2 system on my silver car with help from a friend. Also tuned the carbs. Now it sounds and runs fantastic.

Also took some pics of our cars.post-22076-0-28713400-1430159921_thumb.jpost-22076-0-54825000-1430159959_thumb.j
