[2015] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?

Featured Replies

Finally installed Z's onthe brain head light upgrade.

If it wasn't for a PO's butchering of the headlight hookup on the right side it would have been painless.

Great upgrade. I had it sitting ready a while but naturally I waited till I also had to take the headlight switch off due to

overheating and cleanup and repair it also.http://www.kamikazeracing.org/dl/ZTe...mbo_switch.pdf

Great link if you are a little handy.

Middle pic is the connector some one used instead of proper one.

Buddy of mine in the Ontario z car club gave me proper connectors and a little time with a meter test light and wiring diagram

made it happen. With a Bosch H4 headlight upgrade that was already installed I will have to use my lowbeams :D

Still am going to cleanup the harness in front of the rad. I have all winter

You will find the headlight relay makes a huge difference, especially in conjunction with halogen headlights!

second round of rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, oil pump, and timing set

repeat the valve job

refresh the su's

log a few break-in miles

and order a new brake booster

wheeee!

Cleaned up the harness a bit

Good thing I have heat in the garage. It is below zero outside

De-installed my oil temp sending gauge from my oil pan bolt

  • Installed my Mishimoto Sandwich Plate to the block to get a better oil temp reading

I pulled all four of my five slot mags and took them to my friendly neighborhood shine master. Will post pix when they are back.
