Although I'm a Network Admin, I don't have time to figure this one out.... Annoyingly, and randomly, the forum pages will venture off of the window screen, ie. the words continue past the edge of the right side of the window, making you use the slider at the very bottom of the window... But other times, the forums auto-adjust to the size of the window they are open in... Does anyone else have this issue? When building webpages, the page is designed to auto fit or not usually, so I don't know what I could possibly do to my browser to make it fit. I use fully updated IE 6/beta 7...would use Firefox if I found the forums to fit the window. Thanks!

I've been passing by a Z car on a mom & pop car lot near my house for several weeks now. I looked at it through the fence on a Sunday and finally pulled in this afternoon to get a closer look. It's a 1980 280ZX with what looks to be original features. The paint has been touched up here and there. There's a rust spot on the passenger side front quarter panel. Seals on the windows look good. No cracks in the glass. I could not detect an rust on the frame rails but that will require closer inspection. The engine is running well and the seller has driven the car fairly often. The interior is a little rough with some tears in the seats, cracks in the dash and needs a real …

I just wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributes to this site as well as those who keep it running. Thanks to all of you and the info you so willingly share with the rest of us Z-newbies , I was able to learn enough to find a great Z to start with and begin my quest to build the Z of my dreams. I have just completed the first of many planned projects(280ZX dizzy swap) and started on the second(suspension refresh). So far I have removed the front and rear suspension components and begun the process of taking everything down to bare metal to prep for patinting. I am curently the proud owner of a 1973 Datsun 240Z hovercraft. As a part of the refresh I…

I just returned from Home Depot , and they have a couple of options . Behr brand paint , has a '' 1-PART EPOXY " acrilic paint for garage floors. They also have two part Epoxy paint that is made by another company , they both have flakes to spread and or stuff to make it less slippery when wet. Has any one used either of these and if so how do they hold up ? I am wondering how tuff the coating is if I choose to use my floor jack with the steel wheels , or the dollies . I have used concrete porch paint in the past on a different house and durability and slickness when wet, is a deffinate concern. With all the rain here in Oregon , I don't want my wife to slip and f…

Here's my first entry into the contest with this wonderful product from MSA. See if you can beat this and other entries. Every Z should have a CHROME fan kit, don't you? If you want your Z to have that '57 Chevy aura, get this product.

Well friday morning my grandfather, my father, my brother and I started off after this car. Lets say this probably ranked about 3 on the dumbest ideas we ever had . Chris gave some great directions and we were able to find his place easily, Only made one wrong turn the whole trip. Dad and i test drove the car.(dad still drives like your grandmother) We were very pleased with the engine. It runs very strong but the brakes were scary . When we got back to Chrisses house and i was praparing to give the man his money. He refused it. He gave me the car for free! Chris took me for a ride in his 73 i think it is? Very fast and pretty car. That had to be the most fun ive ever…

I was really sad from not having that one but the worse thing is that they asked 13333$ :stupid: I wish that I could have that amount! does it worth it anyhow? the car really seem like new
