Yeah, I like that Turbo 930

Actually, we are playing, not getting played. Playing the player. Training the AI. Some people get paid to do that. On the "trubo" misspeling, I'd guess that turbo is misspelled so often that it got scraped in by accident. Incorporate spell-check!

So factory operation of the JDM tail light?? Reverse is reverse Turn signal is turn signal and flashers Both upper red lamps are parking lights? Only one upper red lamp is brake light? Maybe the outboard one?

Yes!! As I mentioned earlier. Your getting played.
  8. Looks nice Chris - one of these and a repro trim ring around the cigarette lighter hole would complete my OE ashtray. Any chance of doing a stainless steel version of the ring insert instead of the plastic one you currently are selling? A group buy of either/both items might help with the shipping issue to the USA.

    Still feels like AI. &*^ Questions unanswered. No followup. ? %&^ Simple responses only. And no period at the end of every final sentence. 😀 Only questions are properly terminated. The program needs work! Good luck!!???? :;

Lol, I think it doesn't matter what car we drive. What matters is that we all like this culture

  13. Hi guys, I replaced the mustache bar bushings and re-torqued my rear strut insulator lock nuts. I didn't notice any play there when the springs were compressed. The good news is that the clunking noise is gone. Replaced the master/slave clutch cylinders/hydraulic hose. The old ones showed some internal brake fluid leakage. No more grinding while shifting into reverse. The clutch fork moves 12.5 mm (half an inch). The pedal is at 8 in, 15 mm of free travel before the slave starts pushing the rod. I searched this forum and someone mentioned that the 15 mm is a good number for a fork throw. I am guessing if mine was too short to disengage the clutch disk, I would have heard/felt it. Thanks to all who helped with the diagnostics!
  14. Late 72 began the production of the 1973 Model Year. The Starting VIN series was HLS30 120001 09/72. Nissan didn't need the "late 72" data tags, because they did not use any 1973 Models for the Vintage Z Program. FWIW, Carl

It's a small car! I will get some nose to nose pictures with my 240. That dealership is only a mile from here. Here's my offer of his for mine, no response yet but I'll leave that on the table for ONE WEEK!😁 https://www.nissanofgadsden.com/used/Porsche/1988-Porsche-911-bd11c7e8ac181b91072054cb1839c5ba.htm

Don’t worry Ji-hye, I drive a Porsche as well and they haven’t treated me bad…
  20. Also, This car has a factory radio delete plate. I have several in stock.
  21. Early 72 on left and late 72 on right. These are examples of the ID plates Nissan commissioned me to reproduce for the program. Begs the question - when did "late" 72 begin? About 4 or 5/72, no one @ Nissan were willing to stick their necks out more than that. However, my experience backs that up.
  22. Both of those plates are for 72, so it wasn't the very early cars. Maybe the GVWR wasn't increased for the car itself... Maybe they were increased for the change in American drivers. 😄
  23. My suspicion is the lighter plate is for the very early cars. The later iterations were heavier

  26. My '77 has that wide B like you're talking about and I got one out of a '79 2+2 that I put in my '72 and am really happy with it. Never use 5th around here but it's a game changer on the interstate roads.
  27. I've driven the 240Z down to St George a couple of times for their Easter car show. I'd really like to find a wide ratio 5 speed. I thought the '78 280z had a 5 speed that 1 through 4 was the same as my 4 speed and the 5th gear was like overdrive.
  28. I have a '22 Frontier Crew Cab that I thought was way too aggressive on it's shifting, especially at freeway speeds using cruise control with plenty of hills and valleys (I-15 from Ogden, UT to St George, UT, about 350 Miles, open road about 225 miles with speed limit 80MPH, the rest is 70MPH). Nissan did a reprogram of the transmission control unit and it's a night and day difference! And I really appreciate that Nissan did a 3.8L V6 N/A engine.
  29. Yes. My (all?) Tacomas hunt for torque so they shift up and down. Super annoying. Forces me to have my foot in it a lot.
  30. As opposed to what, the Tacoma ?
  31. I understand that. What I was talking about is the 2 ID plates side by side which I guess are for the same car and the one on the right is like GVWR 420lbs heavier. If this is what the car weighs after it's been through the Nissan refresh I wonder what they did to increase the GVWR by 420lbs. From the pictures it wasn't the radio (that's gone) 😄
