  2. i use willwood 4 pot calipers and discs on my 260z,bolt straight on and do the job
  3. Best place to start is how much can you afford, the 260z on our site looks ok,apart from one of the doors seem to be out of line in the picture, thats just to start without seeing it in the flesh, the 240z looks like it could be a good buy, tempted myself on that one,the late 260z is the better car as i said before,it all boils down to how much you can afford,3 grand you aint gonner get much in the way of 240z,260z seems to be priced reasonable, balls in your court, here is my number,07957881997,never know, you could be driving around in a zed this weekend
  4. Just seen on out uk site a 240z and a late 2 seater 260z for sale,i could come have a look with you, dont know wot knowledge you have on zeds, ive had them for over 20 years so i know a bit, both r in london
  5. Nismo do one,am putting one on my car as im going on to throttle bodies,
  6. Also go for a late model, better car
  7. Hi Dreamon, walk away, sounds too much,im the other side of london, less than an hour away, welcome to pop round anytime
  8. Sounds like the seller has bumped hi head, bit much for any Zed here in England,240 or 260 if it needs that work done on it,where are you in Englan,im in london so am willing to check out a few zeds when they come up for sale so you dont get ripped of,stick to a late 260z as they are a little bit more refined than the 240s, and just as quick if you put the 240 carbs on them,if you want to compare the 2 different models then if you r down this way it could be arranged
  9. Had my Zee nearly eighteen years, had on previous but rotted away was Zedless for 2 years but couldnt resist another one, pictures of my 260Z are waiting approval on the gallery,
  10. 260Z,Block crack tested bored to 3.1.Forged pistons, all the othe bits to go with it. some head work and not too leary cam,Pushing 255 BHP at the wheels with triple 48 dellortos, crap on juice, soon going over to throttle bodies, fitted with adjustable platforms with Eibach lowerd uprated springs,Willwood four pot calipers.0-60 time about 4.5 seconds, nearly forgot, skyline slippery diff
  11. We had them on our English cars, lots of us over here put wot we call here US spec indicaters, which are fitted on your cars
  12. i had a set of 8-15 compomotives with i think 235-55-15 so as to keep the speedo reading the same on my 260,wot you have to be carefull of is when you reverse on full lock,it can catch the edge of the wing,(fender)also the steering will be a lot heavier as the tyres wear, back should be no problem,i changed to a 7-16,much better ride and also, here in england there aint as much trye choice in a 15inch
  13. Nearly got round to doing it today but took it out for a blast round the country lanes
  14. went straight on my 260,but it sits about an inch too low,to make it look and fit you will have to get 2 bits of metal, drill 2 holes each end so as to lift it up a bit then it will look a lot better, still have to do that to mine, been a bit cold here in england but it is a straight forward job
  15. Over here in the uk the 240-260z came without door mirrors.most that you see on our cars are aftermaket, there is a company over here that sell one or two mirrors that some of us have on our own zeds, company is called Demon Tweeks
  16. Might see yer at the halfway house
  17. These cars are a peice of motoring history back here in England,my freinds car has just been valued at 22k,its a 1964,never been restored,as for performance they are not to far behind a standard Zed,the MK11 lotus cortina is a better car, a bit slower, then there is the Mk11 savage fitted with a 3 litre v6 some have a 3.1 rs,quick in its day
  18. looks like i wont be asked to do a drinks commercial then
  19. i use to run coil overs on my Zed,just recently changed suspencion set up,did have the adjustable Tokicos, still got 2 rears for sale, not a lot of mileage, car handled good with these,am now running the eibach springs with adjustable platforms, not much difference really
