  1. yes might as well, heat gun and a scraper works good
  2. loud 4 bangers are bad enough without that sort of carry on, don't think it will catch on here as the WOF people are getting more and more strict on the loudness of cars.
  3. well personally I like long nose's and short rear ends
  4. Handbrake in NZ as well, no complaints about it's position yet
  5. T03 @ 10psi standard, I would say 15psi on the stock T03 providing you are using an intercooler, although a T04 will make more hp at the same psi
  6. opps sorry, havn't look there for a while

'81 (R30) Skyline 2800GT '81 810 '81 - '83 Maxima Diesel Land Rover Discovery (I think, it might just be a common conversion instead) failing that the part number is 12201-V0790 Do you have any old Nissan automotive dismantlers around you?
  10. RB30ET - 150kw @ 5600rpm & 296nm @ 3200rpm (SOHC from VL Commodore) The rb26dett can reach 600hp (flywheel) with out touching the internals, 400hp (ish) just from changing the exhaust and ecu. The RB20DET runs at 10psi standard where as the others run at 7psi standard there are parts avaliable from other cars that allow for a direct bolt up conversion for Z's (RB26DETT requires one modification)

you would have to reduce the compression, from memory they run at about 10.3:1 or so. havn't read anywhere about anyone doing this so no idea how stable it would be

  16. thanks 2ManyZs, do you think it would take 200 - 350RWHP (p.s. before you say get an R200, R200's are very very very scarce over here, where as there are endless 4WD turbo Subaru's)
  17. defiantly possible, don't know where to suggest to go to though?
  18. I have read these bolt on Z's, anyone know if they are worth while?

lets not forget the 500flbs of torque that engine produces
  22. Replace the engine? don't know, I think it more likely they export their old cars to other countries and buy new ones, some how I don't see your average Japanese car owner organizing an engine change.
  23. It used to be all sorts of cars like BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Volvo, even a Camaro raced a while ago etc then they made the criteria for racing so explicit that only the Holdens and Fords (Australian manufactured) qualified, there have been rumors of Toyota entering but haven't heard anything recently check out; http://www.v8supercar.com.au/
  24. 1) finish body work 2) paint car 3) redo break, fuel and clutch lines 4) get performance shop to: (sort of cheating really) - wire up engine to dash - exhaust - radiator + fans - IC piping - driveshaft - fuel pump + regulator - surge tank - anything else I can't think of at the moment 5) wire up sound system and security devices 6) wire up lights etc 7) get interior reupholstered 8) fit windows, emblems, trim, etc 9) get tires for new mags 10) lower + harder suspension + camber change 11) get it certified and insured 12) break upgrade 13) LSD diff upgrade I think that is everything?
