  1. are you looking for stock replacement or performance? i've got (a lovely bunch of coconuts....) a centerforce II that i am putting in as soon as i get what i need to install my R200 (along with the new tranny), but if you're looking for stock replacement i don't have any recommendations.
  2. juuuust got my car back from ZWHIZZ yesterday for that exact same problem. turned out one of my front TS housings had rust on the connector. cleaned it up and voila!
  3. agreed. that was what i was gonna put, but i see i trail stephen and enrique
  4. why not see if someone wants to trade?
  5. the fact that they are screw-on is a dead giveaway as to why the passenger side is falling off! as you accelerate forward, the driver's side spinners are getting tighter. the exact opposite is true for the passenger side. to prevent this from happening again, use something like a thread locker to keep them on the wheels. my $0.02
  6. if you haven't already invested in the ZTherapy vids, i recommend you do so....
  7. ^ i was gonna say we don't get fred meyer down here, but then i saw he was in oregon... i am personally looking for a mild/dark grey to somewhat match the stock colour, but without shelling out $28 a can
  8. i don't know, but let me know how it works! sounds like i could use it on my header.....
  9. did you check and make sure that the needle is going all the way into the nozzle? did you make sure your needles are true?
  10. sure enough it is!
  11. ya, the article is in a terrible state right now. if someone like Carl or ALan would only rewrite it....
  12. sounds like a good restoration candidate...
  13. does anyone else here visit wikipedia? if you do, do you edit things when you find errors? i do, and it seems that the article about the 240Z ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/240Z ) usually contains several factual errors at any given time. it seems as though every few months i have to delete a reference to Albrecht van Goetz (see discussion for more info). Also, the HP figures, although correct according to the VIN/engine plate, are misrepresented (since allegedly there was a shift in how it was being reported). the 432/432R sections are greatly stripped down, and other spots as well.. any takers? -Jason EDIT - it should also be noted that the "Fairlady Z" is practically ignored when it comes to statistics, as well.
  14. if you change your mind i'm the first in line baby i'm still free take a chance on me....
  15. welcome! tons of local for ya, too.
  16. picked up the cam from ebay; waitied til i got a new head to install. buuuut.... picked up a head with a stage IV cam/schnieder valvetrain preinstalled, so the cam is just sitting there now EDIT- i should also add that it's a reground stock by american cams, so high zinc oil isn't as necessary. and it's a solid cam
  17. more lift+duration = higher flow = higher HP potential. i have a stage 2.5 cam collecting surface rust if you're interested.....
  18. ^if the gauge is calibrated correctly, the middle should be 185*, so using that logic, that reading is closer to 195-200
  19. hell ya, ben folds five is awesome!!
  20. welcome! glad you've made it over to this site, and as you've found out it's a wealth of 411!
  21. haha, did you get my PM? i thought you were ignoring me
  22. ^i lied, it's an r180 i confused myself with the moustache bar and forgot that the R180 and R200 bars are at 180* of each other. on that note, anyone with an r200 moustache bar willing to part with it?
  23. welcome! and yes, it sounds like your carbies are all gunked up. i don't know of a website that has an exploded view of flattops; i know that there are a few people on this site that have had success in rebuilding those carbs, though. perhaps they will chime in....
