  1. That is a visual that I could do without. (unless it was a female hotty)
  2. water pipe on that carb/intake auction looks bent, missing the center linkage between the carbs also.

Most tire shops probably wouldn't have the equipment to measure the spring rate, but many suspension specialists might have it. check your factory service manual for the stock specifications and compare.

What size wheels do you have? Your choices in 14" will be much more limited than if you are running 15's, 16's, or 17's.

Not sure what color it is (though it looks nice imo), however it has a 240Z bumper, 240Z turnsignals, and a non-vented hood so I doubt it's a 78 black pearl edition 280Z.
  9. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=21-2170&Category_Code=PCC05 comes with fittings. you would need to mount the hard line from the m/c to the firewall, and connect this hose to it, and the slave cylinder. If you want a hose all the way from the M/C to the slave, you can have Earl's or another hose mfg company make one with the fitting you need. also. Definitely secure it well in several places.

These are the pictures I found in the gallery that helped me when I replaced my oil pump. If it wasn't for these photos, I might still be trying to get my engine to start! The first pic shows what worked for me. I called it 11:29 ______________________________________________________________ The second pic shows what didn't work for me, it's what my manual said was correct, but the engine wouldn't start. 11:25 ______________________________________________________________ The third pic shows, (from the description in your first post), on the left it looks like what you were describing as 11:35 which is one tooth off from what worked for me, on the right it shows (again) what my manuals say is right, but it didn't work for me. ______________________________________________________________

  12. I guess what I was asking is what model are the spreadsheets (as posted) being used for?
  13. Here's the poster to go with it.

Only issue is that Fram aren't very good filters.. Change it often.

Instead of 11:25, the actually setting is more like 11:29 ; if you set the shaft like that, you wouldn't have to retard the timing to get it running well. BTDT. Don't believe me, talk to sblake01; I believe that he's familiar with the difference between reality and the pic in the books that we alll see.
  16. I don't have to remind you not to believe everything that you read., Mr Blakeney. I KNOW you are smarter than that. That is one of the great thingss about these forums. I could have an S30, S130, Z31, and a Z32 (I'd NEVER have a Z33!) and unless I choose to make that info public; no one here would ever know it. signed, Jillian Barberie
  17. Are these files specific to 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, or generic?
  18. I'd also have to wait for you to finish piecing your Z together. I can wait.
  19. MSA sells them in a Nissan bag (just bought some 2 months ago), so they must be available from the dealer.
  20. I LOVE IT ! ! ! That is my new favorite.
  21. EScanlon,Gary: Bite Me ! It was a friggin joke (see the ?) If you don't like my humor, ignore me. (like I ignore both of your pompous posts!) Bill, would from AR to the moon be enough space for you to beat a manual trans Z?
  22. I still cannot access your site directly.

Even with "cartridge style light bulbs" (on a 240Z) you'd still have to remove the headlight assembly from the car to access the back of the headlight unit to replace the bulb.
  24. Might work if you had an automatic trans in your Z, but really; if a Z has an auto trans... who cares if it gets stolen. Seriously, I'm interested in the new product that gnosez mentioned coming to Bad Dog Parts. Any further news on this?????
  25. How much racing / hi performance driving do you do? With a lighter flywheel, you will find yourself driving the car differently in traffic, etc. Less mass, quicker revs for sure, but a bit more revs needed when launchng from a stop to get the car moving. Some people go for a Maxima flywheel which isn't quite as heavy as a stock Z flywheel, but isn't as light as the MSA light flywheel. As for the S/S braided clutch line, your clutch pedal may feel a bit different (mine did) due to the different ID of the new hose compared to the OEM one. Little to no performance gain, but IMO a more durable part, and like you; I like the look.
