  1. ehheheh yeah my brother showed me that a couple of days ago... TOTALLY insane - you'd have to be a pro to drive it though!! Either that or they just cut out the bits where they veer off the road into bushes.......
  2. I love the "spook"... it suits the car so well!

  4. hehe yeah I've seen one or two of those videos... those guys are plain dangerous. However I only saw a couple of other cars in the whole video so I suppose it cant be THAT dangerous... although if one of those were in the wrong place at the wrong time... who knows what could have happened.

That's curious... from what I understand you to be saying, that makes your key different to both mine and "carguyinok"s key. Do I understand you right?

Here are pictures of my key for my 1971. I believe the head used to be black? This key opens the boot and doors. I have another key which starts the car. Is this right or do you think my ignition barrel thingy has been changed at some stage?
  8. Why can't you inspect the floorpan? The carpet should be hooked around a couple of catches under the seat - once you unhook the carpet it should lift right up...

I would be tempted to say it's more like groups of 5... I mean 10 is very different to 15 to 20 to 25 and so on, dont you think??

  13. Maybe it would be a good idea for a feature - everyone could record a 10-30 second wav/mp3 of their car and send it to mike with a description of their system, so that users who are looking for a system can hear which one they like best?
  14. that's a z buddy Here's a roadster in Australia which looks quite good... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3106912200&category=
  15. hahahhahahhahahhah ROFL they're all hilarious How can you tell a blonde's been using the computer? There's white-out all over the screen. hey Tellie whats up painted that car yet?
  16. 2MZ I took the last one apart and fiddled with it for DAYS... currently I'm just summoning the patience to deal with it. Peter I think Australian regulations meant that the 240z didn't need them. They didn't need the rear uglifiers either... The 260z got them however. Japan was similar I think?
  17. Mmmm some of those 350's look great! I like that RX8 near the end too... very sexy
  18. The problem is beyond that. My last one broke because of some computer error where it went up but upon coming down didn't want to stop coming down. My current one has the problem of not going up or down (it's about 1/20th of the way up). It sounds as if the teeth aren't gripping.
  19. Who would have thought such a trivial device as this could cause so much stress. When I got my car the aerial did not work. I boguht a new one and put it in. After about 3 or 4 months it stopped working too. I bought ANOTHER one today and put it in and it all worked and everything was dandy. I turned the radio off to see my beauty go down and it did... a little TOO much. Now this one doesn't work either. IS there some trick I dont know about?! Is 80 AUS bucks a pop not enough to get a damn aerial that WORKS?! This is REALLY starting to wizz me off.

Mmm... perhaps they worded it in another way. Perhaps they were the first to offer it as standard on a car? Or perhaps they meant they were the first to offer it as standard on all of their models? Not sure...
  21. Not at all! You'd be surprised how many younger people don't know that... I guess most of you are talking from an older person's perspective. I think maybe it would be a good thing to introduce a new perspective on this - one from a 18 year old Datsun here for younger people is either an old company which made crappy ecoboxes (jap-crap, anyone?) or a little-known japanese company producing amazing cars which changed the world. The ones with the 2nd opinion own Datsuns. It's a pity that when someone asks what my car is I just say "240Z" without the Datsun, for fear of them snickering. Many people I have talked to about Datsun/Nissan didn't realise they were the same company. I guess most people I talk to weren't around to see the name change.
  22. Those are bloody nice seats...
  23. you can buy mine if you offer a good price ... im poor and petrol isnt cheap :/
