REALLY Important, Time-sensitive!!!
Which ever way it goes I hope it is not even close so we do not have to go through the fiasco of the last election. Meanwhile the fraud continues down the road from me in Milwaukee, one of the most politically corrupt cities in the country. As it was in the last election. Election watchers have found over 35,000 voter registrations in question. Either the person does not exist, dead, convicted felon, illegal alien or registered in multiple locations. On other forms the address does not exist, or is a vacant lot, cemetary, billboard, sign, warehouse, garage, gas station, phone booth, etc. etc. The biggest problem is a person does not have to have an ID to register. The Mayor backed by our Govenor, both big time leftys, decided to require to prove who you are would "disenfrancise" too many voters. Isn't that an over used word. They also had printed 3 ballots for every registered voter. Unheard of until now. The reason was to make sure there was enough ballots as not to deny any one to vote. Right. More opportunity to stuff the boxes. Gore won Wisconsin last time by only a few thousand votes. Not to be believed. Had it been correct, it never would have gone to Florida.

810_motor
Where do you find a strut bar for an 810 Datsun? Thats the same color as the 4 door 810 I used to own. It was a very nice daily driver.

Tom, Did you run at the solo 2 run-offs this year?

Replacement Windsheild Material
I believe the vintage clubs as well as SCCA require safety glass windshields on all production cars. Plastic is usually permitted for rest of the factory glass openings.

Fuel Starvation Problem
That must be your yellow Z I saw on the SpeedSeekers site. Wish now I would have driven over there on Sunday. I was at their April event to see what it was all about. If I get some good "stickys" I will sign up for the next one. How did your front pads hold up?

Windshield Glass -- foggy
I also learned of Brasso in the Air Force. I always keep a can around. It works on just about every kind of metal. (lenses too.) I have also used 3M clear coat rubbing compound on my tail lenses. Worked great.

Windshield Glass -- foggy
I polished my Z windshield with plastic polish I purchased to clean up the headlight covers on my Ford Taurus. It took off all the road film and wiper blade film. Now very smooth and shiney. Its not going to remove any pitting though.

Why do my brakes squweeeeel?
Sometimes this works. It has worked for me in the past. I took the car out on a straight road and made several had stops from about 65 mph. Do not lock them up but just short of that. Soon after the noise went away. If you have not tried that already.

This is the factory wire diagram showing only the lighting. This is an easier to read diagram for working on those lighting problems. Note: for USA and Canada.

280Z sold for 5 dollars today
Occasionally I will go to an auction if nothing much is going on. I went to a farm auction today because one of the items listed was a 2 door Datsun. No model listed. It ended up being a 77 280Z with no motor or trans. I do not have room for it or time for a project so I stuck around to see what it went for. No one bid on it starting at 50 dollars so he kept coming down until a guy with no front teeth raised his hand at 5 dollars. He probably will make it into some farm implement I can imagine. It had no rust on fenders, quarters, doors, rockers. Just rusty underneath. Too bad it was not a low serial number 240 I would have bought it. You never know.
