VARA's Annual Datsun Porsche Challenge More Info! -
Again calling all Datsun enthusiasts and Vintage racers- VARA is having their 2nd Annual Datsun / Porsche Challenge race in Las Vegas Oct. 12-14. Friday will be a practice day with racing both Saturday and Sunday! Many different run groups available for your '73 and later Datsun. Regular run groups will be running as well- The track map is on the VARA Site, it is a 2.2 mile course with technical and fast portions- Contact me if you want any more info or you can check the VARA Web Site Viva Las Vegas!! :laugh: Hope to see you all there-

I'm figuring thats where the pipe needed to end for optimum power- I run Burns collectors and they give you ideal length with the computer software they use, but also tell you to play with it some- I was suppose to stop right around that area too but I run a muffler so I brought mine all the way out- John W.

That is one sweet looking "Z" Racer - If I'm not mistaken that was car I saw at the run-offs that made me decide to build a "Z" car and not regretting it at all!!!:laugh: Having way too much fun to go back to the Spitfire for sure- Wish him good luck this year for me!!

Craig- Yea! The Windhield is HP Lexan - It has a coating on it suppposedly- The Brackets are a little over kill since I was able to form the Windshield in a powder coating oven :cheeky:- Doesn't seem to move at all now formed and brackets with some rubber to keep from sractching it- Once I figure out my uploading problem I'll post some more - Going to the paint shop this winter- We going to see you at any VARA events? Also want to try some of those track days in 2007 you been attending- -

You can check out the install on my "Z" - Check out my member pics Still want to redo the all the lines, but this will work for now! This setup at this point has 2 races on it and every time I hit the breaks I now know they will always be there- Well unless I do something :stupid: John W.
