  1. Wish I had known this earlyer. I had to hunt down a new/ used drain plug because I snaped the old one in two. The other half was still in the radiator. This really sucked.
  2. Goodmorning all, I hope I haven't done that to anyone. If I have, please tell me and I will gladly remove it. Thanks :rambo:

  4. What if I were to put a MSD ignition modual on the turbo engine, it calls for the Blaster 2 coil, (I don't want to sound stupid!) is the coil too much for the NGK Irridium plugs and Tyson 8.0mm wires. Better yet, what if I went MSD all the way with the spark wires. Should not be a problem then, right? Need an opinion. Thanks :rambo:
  5. You have a very valid point, Carl. That is why I am going to go with the Illumina strut. You can adjust the setting in seconds. My car will probably not see a circut track, but atleast I can run around town with some good cornering and lower center of gravity, plus it will make the car look really mean. :devious: (the little things)
  6. Thanks hls30.com I will be searching e-bay when I get home! To others : I am buying what I think to be a "stock" '83 280ZX Turbo engine. I will be fitting it into my '72 240Z. I was just wanting some ideas as to what has worked in the past. (Blitz, HKS, and GReddy don't sell any for this engine. And MSA is way too costly!) :tapemouth Thanks
  7. That ia bada$$! Thanks. Hopefully I'll find what I need. :rambo:
  8. Just an off-the-wall question. I could not read the writing on the website (kakimoto), I dont have babblefish. Will any of the parts work on a turbo engine...say, the valve cover and pullys? :?
  9. Your right. I guess that is still some cash to get an engine. I have heard a lot about this engine, is it really that good? You'd think it would be for that price.
  10. A 240Z balance bar and the N42 or E36 intake manifold. I have a 2.8L with SU carbs and it runs like a bat out of hell! I'm not home right now, otherwise I'd look to see what was really stamped on it. But I need more power if I'm going to beat this guy with the '98 "firechicken"
  11. So that is about $150,000USD? Man, what do you think the cylinder head would cost? Could it bolt to a F-54 block? Maybe the block was different? It would be nice to have.
  12. Man! If I can get my hands on a 432 engine, I wouldent care anout the cost. To have one in my Z, I think it would be awsome! Make it 3 people!
  13. I had this idea of cutting my floor pans out and replacing them with alumminum diomand plate. You know, like the one in Fast and Furious on the green Eclipse. It looked good until it rupped out of the bottom.
  14. http://www.arizonazcar.com/diffmount.html It is Arizona Z Car. I feel like a dork. Sorry for the mix-up
  15. Man! I was looking forward to getting that mustache bar and solid diff plate from them. Wait a minute, I might be confusing Arizona Z with Midwest Z? I'll have to check the website. I might have it still bookmarked. Sorry for the confusion.

How about doing a search for Ayumi Hamasaki on P2P. She has some really good music. I burned about 4-5 CDR's with just her music. I also have her music on my X-box, so when I play the race games I feel like I'm in the game. (call me weird)
  17. No, its not you, I hate going to that site B/C you have to search first and that could take hours. Sorry if I came on too harsh. Just needed a quick direction to go.
  18. Thanks for nothing
  19. Then, is Midwest Z still in buisness?
  20. This is my car now. When I get home I'm getting the MSA fiberglass front. Kinda like my Avater I drew. Just wanted to put in my $0.02 http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11601&sort=1&cat=500&page=1 I know...she is a work in progress. Dosent help that I'm away and can't fix her up now. Happy Motoring!
  21. I was thinking of what some options are in intercoolers. I heard of GReaddy, HKS, and Blitz are pretty good. Would any of these fit a 240Z frame. Trying to get some opinions and an estimate of how much one will cost. Thanks
  22. If you can spend the extra money, I'm going to go with Tokico springs and Illumina shocks w/ 16" wheels in front and 17" wheels in back. The car will look something like my Avater I drew. I also heared that Koni and Eibatch(?) springs are good. Good luck with the set-up.
  23. Thats cool man, I think I found turbo parts from another guy. thanks for replying though.
  24. If no one has an engine, could someone ask their local junkyard? Send me a pm with the phone # and address. Thanks
