  1. Did you have the headers Ceramic coated? I understand that’s not the issue at hand but will eliminate carb problems.
  2. I’m personally done. If his mechanic is that good there’s really no reason to post on a topic thats well over 6 years old and pretty much has not accepted any one persons advivce nor reported back on the findings from suggestions that were given.
  3. Bottom line that’s not the way the engine was designed unless he thinks you had a defective thermostat.
  4. Sounds like it worked out in your favor after all.
  5. Have you heard of @zclocks on this site. He’s pretty much the expert on these clocks. I’d reach out to him and see if he will take it on.
  6. Call “Junkyard Jenny”. Pretty sure She has one. Will save you a lot of time.
  7. @Captain Obvious Very impressive analysis of the circuit. Thank the Lord I went to school for that!,
  8. Why not contact “junkyard Jenny” She probably has what you need to replace your existing mechanism. Sounds like you might need both sides. Good people.
  9. Take lots of pics for reference.
  10. Have you removed the entire mechanism and performed a deep clean along with lubricants?
  11. Thanks everyone. I’ve identified #4 as p/n 30501-K0401. Still available through Nissan. Should have it by Friday. Still available since it Fits later model cars and trucks. I’m running the T5 transmission from a 83 ZX 280et. I’ll report back once everything comes in. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
  12. @mayolives Thanks my friend! Now I need to find the Nissan P/N.
  13. @Patcon Do you know where I can find a listing of the collar lengths?
  14. Yarb replied to Parman's topic in Build Threads
Maybe The throw out bearing collar was too short. Multiple configurations across the board. IMHO.
  15. @jfa.series1 That certainly didn’t take long!!
  16. I assume you’re not interested in the sugar scoops so I will go ahead and list them along with the fenders I currently have. Good luck friend getting the car back on the road.
  17. Are you buying these from a supplier? If so it should state the fitment parameters. Gotta know more details. Is this exhaust new or used?
  18. Are you buying a new system or trying to figure out if a used system will fit the car? Need more information
  19. If the supplier states it will work with year, make and model I’m curious what your concern is.
  20. Not sure what you’re asking here. You are talking about exhaust correct?
  21. I apologize for not seeing this earlier. I would like to see pics and really appreciate you responding. Thanks friend…John
  22. The spares I have I bought with a set of fenders and did not use. They are both metal and are new. I don’t know where they originated from but I suspect it might be Black Dragon. Let me know if you are still interested. If so send me a pm and will go from there.
  23. Sorry about that friend. It slipped my my mind. I’ll make a note to check it today.
  24. My two cents. Put the Activity bar on top and move it from the more drop down. New users would not easily know where to go.
