site, thanks for the help. not trying to be a pita can you scan it with a ruler or something like a quarter next to the gasket? that would give me a size reference to work with. here is a scan of 2 dimes that i scanned and saved as a jpeg, then attach as a photo. it should print out to actual size

bingo! these are bald-faced hornets, and they have been steadily killing quite a few of my honey bees. the yellow-jackets like to get in the hive and feed on the larvae.

not the actual gasket, but a actual size scan of the gasket (and a ruler next to it) that goes between a cannon intake and a weber dcoe 40. i need to make something, but dont want to order a complete gasket kit if i dont have to. thanks all

random thought random thought. after driving around the block, try opening the gas cap, is there a rush of air into the tank? heck, try driving without the cap. if the cap is bad, the tank may be in a vacuum not letting the pump do its job

it isnt that hard, but it is a PITA loosen the bolts for the driveshaft (leave the shaft in the trans to keep the oil in) and axles, remove the strap, front mount and the 2 nuts on the back cover. slide the diff toward the front of the car until the 2 studs clear, and then lower the diff down 1-no 2- it will make life easier. 3-see above after doing this 3-4 times, it isnt that bad
  19. excellent choice. it is well worth the $$
  20. if it works and doesnt leak, maybe it is the way it should be.
  21. rcb made an excellent suggestion. 1 thing at a time!
  22. where is the bypass valve? im not seeing it
  23. switch the "bad" tire to the other side. if it is the tire, the hop will be wherever you put the bad tire
  24. my wife has an auto trans (no trouble yet), mine are stick. not much can go wrong with a stick shift
