I own a 260z, but I would like to own a Fairlady Z some day. Why is it not an option on the pole? I know of three people that could vote, but there is probably more owners with Fairlady Z's that I do not know about on this forum or visiting it. I am not trying to cause havoc, I just thought that the pole was a little biased. Take care, Ben

I read somewhere that about 420 Z432's were made. They were not even sure, but they said it was a much more realistic number. -
This is a nice one. I wouldn't mind getting a hold of one of these sometime myself. I have mostly tomica's, but I have one matchbox 260z 2 by 2. -
Hello MDyer, I am reading this very late in the game, but I was that one that posted the pic of the beautiful 240z that I called a 240z poser(I changed the pic name). I was not trying to be negative, but I can see how one would think that. So if I came off wrong I am sorry. I don't want anyone to feel bad. Anyways, my goal is to do exactly what you are doing to your car. Making it a kick a$$ Z that has Fairlady Z touches!!! Let the botching begin. Maybe we can talk some time about Fairlady Z's and what we are planning to do to our cars. Just pm me. Your car is looking great too. take care, Ben

The grill for the early 260 and the 70-72 240 are totally different. The 260 has opening for the bumper shocks while the 240's do not. The grill may fit, but it will not be correct. I also believe that there is different mounting points for the two, but I am not sure. By the way, what color is your early 260z grill? Thanks. Good luck, Ben

not done yet...getting there though -
Just sand the back of the rear wheels in the back to match the width of the front. The tires will fit and they will clear the fender wells, yet still have the dish look and appear to be wider in the rear. I did this with this kit so I know it works. It is looking good. Make sure you paint the wheels dark gun metal grey;). -Ben -

Zmefly, I looked at the pictures you have on car domain and your old 240 looked beautiful. I love the yellow with the polished mags. Very clean looking.:classic: I have not seen many yellow z's. It looks great in that color. Your 280zxt looks mean. I bet it is an eater on the street. Hehehehe. It looks like you take care well. Do you have an early Z as well, or did I miss it? Regards, Ben

I would like the car too, but I want to make mine just the way I like until I think about buying another Z. Someday I would like to get a Z432. One can dream. I would be happy with my car having Fairlady Z mods. All I have right now is the Fairlady Z clock. :stupid: Later this year I hope to get wheels. Hehehehe. Until then, I have my avator. Here is an awesome looking exhaust and header for an L-series. It looks like the Z432 exhaust. Here is a pic of my two latest cars that I added to my collection. The white Z432 is from 1974 and it was the first variation with the rivets that hold it together instead of the glue. The blue zg is from 1975 and it has the rare 1f wheels. I love tomica's. I have 7 tomica z's now. -Ben

I could be wrong on this Gav, but there was some 375-400 432/432r cars made and about 25 of those were 432r's. You could find a 432r with a serial of ps30-00218 because it would have been the 218th s20 powered zcar, but it is not saying that it is the 218th 432r just 218th s20 zcar out of the factory. I hope this helps and if I am wrong in any way, some one correct me. Wow, that is the same 432-r that you saw at the nismo fest. I was thinking it was, but I was not sure. Now I know. Cool, I wonder if there are any original owners of the 432r's. It seemed like if anyone was it would be the guy that owned this one because he is so true to its orignality. Does he still have the original tires on the car? I wish I could see and hear these cars in all their beauty. Take care, Ben

I like your play on words. I was totally exxpecting a picture of a set of triple carbs!!! They look cuter than any of any sidedraft triples I have ever seen. Hehehehe. You have quite the collection of tomica Z's. I just bought a few more. Some of the ones that you have are quite rare. The old police cars are really hard to find, especially the diapet and dandy versions. I will have to post some pictures of my very small collection. I have a couple z432 and 240zg tomicas. My newest addition was a zg circa. 1974. It was the third variation of the tomica 240zg. Anyways, nice pics and a great collection. Someday I hope mine accumulates to something similiar to your collection. I would be happy with half of that.
