JDM Horn Button?
It's not my bag baby! Hahaha, very funny Gav. how is your beautiful red Zed? Are you building an awesome engine for her?

JDM Horn Button?
I think that horn button is the one that is fabbed for a modern steering wheel. This is the expensive one on ebay no? That may be the reason why there is no stitching (Correct me if I am wrong somecreep). You are right Lachlan, the Fairlady Z horn button had a "Z". In Japan, the Compe had a "Z" horn button. I think a lot of the guys in Japan like the Datsun logo horn button's like we would like a "Z" horn button. Ben

Sagamiko meeting 2004
Thanks a lot for the photos of the event Alan. I must agree with everyone; there were a lot of G-nose cars there. I am not complaining. I really like the the Maroon ZG with the steel wheels and dust bin wheel covers. I thought it looked perfect. Was that car a genuine ZG? The 432-R that was there gets around. I think I have seen that Z in almost every event that you have taken pictures at. It is great that the owner drives it. It must be something out of this world to see a real PS30-SB. I really like the 14 by 5.5j Kobe Seiko's that the car has, but I have seen very few pictures of 432's with the optional 14 by 6j wheels. Anyways, enough of my googling and awwing. Thank you so much for the pictures. Ben:)

Done (for now!)
Ben, your car really looks great. The nor to 60 time is unbelieveable. My car would probably take twice the time. Great job! Ben

Genuine Rally Clock For Sale!
ChrisA, you are going to love it. The clock is very pleasent to look at. I love my rally clock. I have this same one, and like Stephen mentioned, it is the later(1974-1978. It was offered in the ZL or as a factory option. Japan was the only market that got these.) rally calander clock that does not have or need a oscillating box for the stopwatch capabilites that the early one had, but it has the date, thus calender, that is a duhism on my part. I am not sure if you guys remember the thread, but this clock was designed after Matsuo-san's Citizen watch. It is very cool and timeless. Congratulations ChrisA. Ben P.S. The oscillating box goes in the glovebox and has a nice hum when functioning. Everyone keep their eyes peeled for one because Victor has been searching for one for his early rally clock ever since I joined this club!

Which Watanabe's to look for
Mr. Akamatsu's Ly powered S30 has 15 by 7j Type A wheels, which are made of magnesium. I am not sure of the offset as the rears are more negative than the fronts, but they are 15's, and he told me they were type A.

Lachlan, I love your car and you know it. Thanks for the correction. This is what I meant to say.

Seems like a really clean and original 72'
The price is not outragous for being such an original car. Take a look. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6187&item=4505345559&rd=1

Which Watanabe's to look for
That is a really nice looking Z, and the wheels look great. What size and offset are your Wats Glenn? Welcome to the Watanabe club. It is a club for people who have vintage Japanese cars for their Watanabe's. Cain Fred said that awhile ago and I thought it was pretty cool. Ben

Which Watanabe's to look for
There are three. One has an aweful looking wing.

Which Watanabe's to look for
Scroll to where it says S30/S31. There you will find the recommended sizes and offset for a non-flared early Z. http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/matching/nissan.htm p.s. Europa's are awesome

OT: Honey Bee to be hacked on Monster Garage
There was some major 350Z carnage going on. This monster garage episode is looking pretty good so far. Sorry Honeybee. That was a pretty good show. I don't like the paint job, but other than that, it is the ultimate sleeper. I agree with Mario, it should have had big wheels and big brakes. Jesse's Honey Bee looked cherry by the way. http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/monstergarage/episode/season3/slideshows/episode_50/episode_50.html

Mini-Lite/Watanabe Wheels Ebay
These are nice wheels indeed. They look identical to the wheels that were put on VW beetles' in the 60's. I think those were called Empi's. Anyways, these seem a little on the skinny side like you mentioned, but the mags that I have are 5.5j and they look good.

two of a kind.......
Wow. I love seeing pictures of your car Guus. The Fulvia looks awesome too. Did these two cars compete against each other, or was the Fulvia before the Z? This a great shot. It is nice to see that your car is doing well.

Needy 240Z-G man!
I have heard that 20-25k USD will get a beautiful ZG, but I am not certain on this. I will be a broke uni student for a while, and then when I get out I will be broke due to school debt. I hope to have my 260 the way I would like it until I buy another Z. Eugene, start looking for the goods and you will have an extremely unique and beautiful 240Z. Z's modified with Japanese style are rare to come by in the states. I would assume that is true in all countries other than Japan. Keep us updated with the ZG pieces with your Z. Ben:)
