Pics from Zdayz
Killboy www.killboy.com usually has 2 or 3 photographers roadside every weekend during the driving season. They use some pretty damn expensive gear. Photos are 12+ mega pixel. I paid 80 bucks to have them all put on a CD and mailed to me.

ZDAYZ Video
Not a clue, but it kinda fits the video.

Thanks, it was a real blast, and something he will not soon forget. We plan on making this a family affair for the years to come. Well worth the trip from anywhere in the country to attend.

Pics from Zdayz
These next shots were taken by a different photographer working for www.killboy.com at a different location on the route. I did not get as much driving in as I wanted to. It was difficult making this trip and trying to enjoy it all with a 2 year old co-driver.....but well worth it.

cam selections triple webers
FWIW the webers will work well with a stock cam if you choke the carbs down to 30mm. Makes for a very smooth running engine that pulls like a beast down low. Just curious, are you ditching the stock FI due to performance issues (ie not enough power) or is it just not running right?

Your best bet would be to call Ron Iskenderian @ Isky Racing Cams. If you are patient and willing to spend the time to talk to him, he will do a custom grind for you based on what you want the motor to do and what your setup is. However he will want to know everything about the motor ie exact comp ratio, etc etc. FWIW the 40DCOE151 comes with 32mm chokes which should work fine for your application, but be prepared to spend some money to get the jetting just right. It is a matter of trial and error to get the idle circuit and accell jetting right to match the motor. BTW where is Winber, PA...if it is not too far from DC, when you get the setup complete and installed, I could come up and help with the final tuning, I have a huge jet selection at my disposal, as well as different chokes if needed.

My Z worklog (LOTS of pictures and some vids!)
Actually, you did meet him, albeit briefly. He was driving a black 240, and his lady was driving the yellow 240 that finished second for stock. BTW any pics of your car on www.killboy.com . I paid 80 bucks to have all of my pics put onto a CD. 12mega pix I think...suitable for poster sized prints.

4 speed or 5 speed? HELP
The type 1 as you call it was the "A" type box, very similar to the roadster boxes. The later was the "B" type. However there were two different gearsets used in the "B" type. The 74 260 had a shorter 1st and 2nd gear to make up for its extra weight. All the rest of the 4sp had the same ratios ("A" and "B"). I too prefer the 4sp...kinda funny like that....however I am looking for a 3.7 rearend and a early 5sp....I like the final drive ratio I get with the 4sp and 3.54 gears.

congrats ZRUSH!
BTW guys there were two original owner 240Zs in attendance. The driving was awesome, and the company was great. Congrats to all the winners, esp Zrush. What a beautifully prepared car, and great folks to boot. Thanks to everyone there for the hospitality. I even had an offer for someone to babysit my 2yo co-driver so I could really attack the dragon....Alex would have nothing of it and wanted to slay it himself. What a blast. Pics coming soon as I get home.

My Z worklog (LOTS of pictures and some vids!)
It was a pleasure meeting you at ZDayZ. Eddie Radatz and I both commented to each other how your car had some serious potential, and were pleased that you chose a Z to tinker with. Keep the shiny side up, and enjoy the ride.

Electric fuel pump on 72Z w/carb problems
Yes it does, same as described previously, the other end of the conection is a wiring plug at the dash next to the heater console. The wires that need to be jumped are black and green. They are part of a plug that is located in the wiring bundle on the rh side. Make sure and fuse it, and use a relay for safety

Best rust stopper P0R15 or Eastwoods?
Hey guys check this stuff out, used it on my new floor pans last year. www.rustbullet.com
-
Do they still make them??
Just dont replace the rear "strut mount insulater". If they are not torn, dont replace. On a side note, I replaced mine on my 240. The new ones from nissan were slightly taller than what was in the car, like by 1/8in.

Can I R&R door latch w/o removing window?
You can remove the sash w/o removing the window, it is a bit tricky, but can be done...the tricky part is getting it all lined up afterwards
