Floor Jack Question
The best. Screw house jacks. They're high though but my old concrete slab garage floor shifts with the weather.

Floor Jack Question
My thinking is/was buy a low profile aluminum jack from HF. Spend on the best jack stands you can. They will save your life. The jack, not so much. It'll loose pressure and start dropping as quick as the last pump so you'll know quick.

New project
Memories of older bikes is what we love. You ain't hijack nothing! What a great story to share. Thank you! I know my 2 stroke KX80 had a "powerband" in the exhaust that acted like a turbo at high rpms. From what I remember there was some vales in the exhaust pipe that opened up at high revs allowing like an open exhaust pipe. Giving them some more gitty up an go. Lots of flipped bikes and sore asses from those powerbands.

Tensioner sounds
An easier way would be use a piece of pvc with rubber caps on each end. I had a bunch of thinner so I used what I has handy.

Tensioner sounds
I used a piece of PVC tube with lacquer thinner. Worked good after soaking a couple off days. Then blew it out with my air compressor. If you ever have to paint a bunch of staircase balusters this the way to go, BTW.

What's the most needed Z part that's currently NLA?
Thank you Mr Arnett! Happy New Year to you and loved ones. I've read about that before, possibly you? I will study up on this and possibly stay original and use the wire in a way such as you. Thank you again for all your help. Cliff

I really need to do that replacement. I took the horn pad out of the car and brought it inside my house. Darn thing started falling off on the smallest bumps in the road. Then gets under my pedals and trying to move with a 240 seatbelt on is immposdible. They do not give any at all. I can't even use the radio while I'm driving. But I do like that feeling, kind of race car-ish.

Tensioner sounds
You could have a lash pad that fell off. Happens more than you'd think and makes a helluva ticking noise. Easy to put back on too.

No, they're the chrome ones from Vietnam. Bought them from futofab.com on a Black Fiday sale 5 years ago? and they look great. I highly recommend those and futofab. But he's on the right coast so shipping was a lot less for me. There's others that sale them, zcardepot.com right off the top of my head. Those stainless ones are from the Harrington group I think. They're a good bit more costly too. I also bought new brake light combo buckets from futofab. Love those too. They have the orange lens on bottom, European spec I believe but they look mighty good on my orange car. Check out... https://www.futofab.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=67

Your finisher is olive? I thought that was some classic sarcasim. classicsarcasim.com Happy new year Zed Head. I'm dog sitting tonight. He's not liking the fireworks so we're in the bed watching television. I was invited to a drunken slut bowling party but passed for my Buddy. I'm hoping one or two will stop by later though so all isn't lost on the dog. There's your ball drop.

Forwarded to the North
My neighbors carry their pushmower to get the blades sharpened. One guy took his off and had them sharpened. Put them on upside down and mowed his yard the whole summer. Ask me why it wasn't filling the bagger up.
