  1. Here in Michigan lots of salt is used. I don't use road toys until plenty of spring rain has washed the roads.
  2. I think I'll try the WD-40, Dutchzcarguy.
  3. Just received my carbs from Jeff Palya at Paltech. Look sooo nice! Don't If I should hang them on the wall or the manifold!
  4. Thats what I have in mind. Wouldn't want to destroy a good wheel.
  5. Thanks Siteunseen, the shift knob measurements would help. I'm building a 73 240 resto-rod. Basically a southwest 73 body, a rust bucket Michigan 72, and a rust bucket 81zx rolled into one. I have restored my stock steering wheel, but thought if I could get a 240 steering wheel frame. I would try wood working in the round.
  6. I have a wood working shop. I want to make a custom wheel and shift knob.
  7. I would like a non-repairable 240 steering wheel and shift knob.
  8. Original owner!! Cool! Work looks pro.
  9. Flushed the crud out of my fuel tank after soaking for a month with vinegar. Very pleased with the results. Now one more vinegar soak for another week.
  10. What about building a system based on the 280zx compressor, mounted in it's stock position on the left side of the engine?
  11. L28 marine diesel on Detroit Craigslist.

Again sorry for your loss. I'm about an hour from you. Perhaps I could help and possibly buy some parts. PM me if you want.
